IR hasn't stepped down. If you go to his full profile on the Global Philanthropic website, it says he is still a NED at Eurasia.
......and the best is yet to come! 2020 proved to be another very successful year for all invested shipmates, as was 2019 before it. Roll on 2021.
Wishing all shipmates aboard the great galleon Eurasia a Happy New Year.
All the best, Adam.

Will you lot stop sharking on with your fish jokes!
trading4good - I can't pretend that isn't a slight concern. I have primary school age kids and a number of DIY projects to get stuck into that I've been putting off for a while, so that should keep me occupied for a couple of years. If I do get bored, I might look to do something else just to keep me in touch with reality though. I enjoy the great outdoors including walking, mountain biking and kayaking so possibly something related to that. But I know one thing for sure, my days of reporting for duty at the office every day are over!
guitarman001 - Probably less than you're thinking actually! Don't have particularly expensive tastes and low outgoings as mortgage all but paid off which helps. Also, when I say retire, what I actually mean is I will become a full-time PI, but that's always been a pleasure and a hobby rather than work to me. I have been a part-time PI for over 20 years now alongside working the day job, so it's been a long apprenticeship really!
What's EUR? If you mean EUA, I suggest you read the RNS releases and form your own view. Nobody here is likely to give you investment advice, it is against LSE rules for starters!
I'm not far away in Lincoln, so would be delighted to travel up the road to York. York is a fine City and I believe it has a pub for every day of the year, so perhaps I'll stay on for a bit and try a rum in each one. Thanks to EUA I'm retiring on 23 December at the age of 41, so I'll need to fill my time doing something!
I'm one too Tilly and proud! Yellow Belly is the term for all Lincolnites....... Various theories but most commonly held belief is that it relates to the yellow waistcoats worn by the Lincolnshire based regiments in days gone by.
JTMacs - Isn't it just 1% holding now requiring a TR1, because of the FSP?
Rolaw1 - Lesego may or may not be able to afford us. Heaven-Sent Capital on the other hand could probably raise whatever were needed looking at their track record.......
Sharpeye52w - Correct, James isn't CEO of Lesego Platinum Ltd, Jeff Dong is and has been since July 2020. James is, however, CEO of Lesego Platinum Mining Ltd (which is 74% owned by Lesego Platinum Ltd) and CEO of Eurasia Mining.
James Nieuwenhuys is of course our new CEO. As we all know, the board did on the 16 September 2019 state that his appointment to the board would only occur if a potential transaction with Lesego Platinum was to progress. In announcing his appointment to the board on 26 November 2019, it was stated that there had been a change of approach and whilst there was not at that time an intention to enter into any arrangement with Lesego, both companies would continue to keep this under review.
James Nieuwenhuys was and I believe still is also the CEO of Lesego Platinum Mining Ltd. Lesego Platinum Mining Limited is a company 74% owned by Lesego Platinum Limited. Lesego Platinum Limited is in turn 100% owned by Heaven-Sent Capital Fund.
In July 2020, Xia (Jeff) Dong became the new CEO of Lesego Platinum Limited. He is also the Principal of Mining Investment for Heaven-Sent Capital Fund. Coincidentally, he also used to work at CITIC. The non-executive Chairman of Lesego Platinum Limited is Sheng Zhang (Michael). Funnily enough, he also holds a position at Heaven-Sent Capital Fund - as its CEO.
So, James, our new CEO, in his capacity as CEO for Lesego Platinum Mining Limited, reports directly to Jeff and Michael as CEO and Chairman respectively of Lesego Platinum Limited (who seem to have had a major staffing reshuffle during July). In turn, Jeff and Michael are Principal of Mining Investment and CEO respectively at the overall umbrella organisation Heaven-Sent Capital Fund - oh, and one of them has links to CITIC. Perhaps James would be just as comfortable reporting to Jeff and Michael in his capacity as CEO of Eurasia - just saying........................
Well spotted GLG, I hadn't noticed that as well. I suspect you're right. Games, MM games I tell thee......
that every trade (according to EUA website), for the last 40 minutes or so of trading, is listed as a buy. Could bode well for the morning..........
The saying is 'buck' actually! ;-)
.....so looks like I'm not selling any of mine whether I like it or not!
I for one would be happy to vote a deal through that meant I walked away with 78pps. I think that would seal early retirement for me and I'm only 41!
