I’m out, this has got to be a joke. People debating whether a truck is fedex or otherwise, whether a factory is a generic pic or otherwise, more posts on this chat forum alone than actual trades!...this is desperation central. I really hope it flys at some point for those of you in big, but for me there is good to be done elsewhere right now.

I must admit I’m losing faith with this one now, I’ve sold approx half my position over the last 2 days to put elsewhere. I’ll leave the rest in place as if it does fly then it’ll still be a nice result.
No volume to speak of, no news to speak of, and what is generally agreed to be a terrible bod makes this no more than wishful thinking on the back of the spike back in November. But “ if you’re not in you can’t win” hence leaving a bit in.

I’d love to see a few big buys early on with this tomorrow just to underpin the decent SP increase.

Don’t know why but just topped up a small amount again, I must be mad.

It’s not just one airline, it’s made up of multiple airlines so it might be that the price is affected by the fortunes (or not) of the likes of Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling etc. as well as BA.

A lot of tie ups in this, company in Germany, manufacturing in Spain, shipping to the UK over the Xmas period for assembly, production to start Jan 21......
There’s an awful lot of logistics involved in that. If this were down to GC solely I’d be full of confidence...but it ain’t!

Calling people names because they are inexperienced at this and asked a question is schoolyard nonsense. Everyone started somewhere, how about pass on friendly advice rather than jabs and cr@ppy comments. Pretty sad from some so called “experienced” traders.

Interested in how this will look this time next year. If we finally break free from this bl***y virus and things are allowed to get moving properly then SP recovery in this and many other sectors could be a joy to watch! Long for me.

One thing that bugs me about this is where is all the publicity about this if it’s such a groundbreaker? There was a flurry of activity about a week ago and now nothing! If it’s the essential “must have” that we are hoping it is, why is it not all over the news like vaccines and the like? I would’ve thought there’d be a fairly constant news feed from this if it’s the future?!

Seriously....who cares what these people say. Their input is so inconsequential it’s not worth the increase in blood pressure going back and forth with them. We are probably all up in some positions and down in others and I’m willing to bet that most of us have made those investments not based on the maniacal ramblings of someone quite obviously not interested in anybody else, but on your own research and picking out the genuinely well intentioned, well researched advice by some experienced people that know what they are talking about.
Let’s settle down, keep the posts on point, we could probably all benefit from that. It’s tough times, let’s act in the interests of everyone.

Vaccine news is old hat now. What’s this the 3rd one to release its findings thus far? The Moderna announcement barely had an impact so this was never gonna light up the world, that goose is cooked.
An announcement relaxing the travel quarantine regulations this week may have a positive effect on the market but I suspect that given it’s been mooted for so long now it won’t be as dramatic as we’d like.
As many on here have said, this is a long term hold (but I wouldn’t mind being proved wrong!!)

It actually encourages me to buy more of these shares when I see such a sudden burst of deramper activity on here, good things must be coming!
The argument that there is already a spray you can use on a regular mask is weak if not irrelevant, you’re not comparing apples with apples.

I’ll admit I was sceptical and took a bit of a chance with this one, but in the last week or so I’ve been slowly increasing my position. It seems like P2F’s timing with this product is just about spot on, and providing they don’t fall at the last hurdle or make a mess of the PR, much like many others here, I think it could fly.

Agreed Brew, I’m pretty new to all this and was hoping to learn a bit from some experienced investors, but a lot of it just seems to be one big slanging match.
Is it always like this or is there a higher level of general frustration with things right now causing people to kick off with one another?

Long increasingly feels like the right call. The “bumps” from the announcements are fun to watch and no doubt lucrative for those trading enough on them, but for me, as many others seem to be suggesting, there are gains to be made by being patient and awaiting this thing to play out fully.

Is there a danger that too much expectation is being placed on the Oxford/Az announcement. It’ll be the 3rd one (I assume) and whilst I appreciate it perhaps is the most significant to the UK, is there not a case for “ok we’ve seen this twice already”.
Similarly with the Transport Secs expected announcement re quarantine, is that not already at least partially priced in?
I only wonder as reasonably new to this.
