Novacyt isn't NASDAQ listed. Autolus is. Interesting comparison and I agree that it's a model that makes a lot of sense. Would prefer to see that than a buyout as I (like many) see this company as a long term investment,
Probably accurate but meaningless. Volume in the US is very low. 2200 shares traded today which is 2200 more than a normal trading day. This company is still way off the U.S. investor radar but obviously someone decided they wanted in late in the day. Expect this price to reset back to around USD 1.9 by market open. Still a great day!
Yep... Enjoying the show today. Good to see my tax bucks being put to good use for a change...

Honestly I haven't really dug into the US market and have been a bit behind on this board. Apols if this has been covered before but I noticed this headline the other day. Haven't looked at it too much in terms of quality/S&S etc. The price point is interesting though - $24-$39. That will put it firmly out of most peoples reach, and given the rate of vaccination I don't see it being a big seller unless the government agencies start buying.

lol... I'm holding steady. Enjoying the double bonus of a nice RNS and the $ dropping ;)
US market is still ludicrously quiet.... Just a single 100 share transaction on 4/12 showing up on my Fidelity screen...
A more interesting scenario will be the diagnostics business is spun out in a 50/50 style joint-venture with one of the big diagnostic players. Avacta would have the UK/EU market sewn-up, the partner would bring the expertise and resources to storm the US/Asia markets. The $ from the 50% sale would drive the therapeutics R&D and sales/marketing expansion.
Ha - sorry to say I'm not showing up with a truckload of benjamins. I've been in since August, picking up my last lot back in the dark days of late November. Old uni friend tipped me off on this gem...once I'd choked down the fact that Fidelity would charge me $50 a trade I did the DD and dived right in. Agree with almost all the +ve sentiment on here, frankly it feels like being in at the start of a next generation medical breakthrough. I'm in for the long term - havn't sold any yet and don't expect to for a couple of years at least.
Howdy. I been buying Avacta (AVCTF) on the US OTC market through Fidelity. The OTC volume I see reported is negligible - most days no activity at all. Basically from the data I see it's an undiscovered gem from a US investor perspective.
Blownitalready - Yep, it's annoying that one. The symbol is AVCTF

Hi all. I saw Aptamer Group mentioned on the SKIN RNS today. Any relationship between them and Avacta? Are they working on the same type of technologies? Are they competitors?
Been following this board for a few weeks now and am learning an enormous amount. I don't recall seeing Aptamer Group mentioned though. Thanks to all who contribute to an educational and entertaining read.
