If it was a short blip I'd understand holding back but analysts are saying higher to go some much higher. Even if they based it on $70 for med term it's still nearly 20% higher than their old divi policy. They must make a uplift in shareholder return

It's a stable absolute necessity which has gone up over 4 times price wise in 12 mths plus demand is rapidly accelerating. Maybe 10 is too high but I can easily see 5+ next year. Plus it is going through a major transition

I would. I'm preducting to be around 420 at year end and think that would still be way short of alot of the fair value number being posted by the industry analysts.
The fundamentals are fabulous and it's earnings now not projected earnings that we'll justify this.

The drivers for projected earnings are higher by some margin. The big factors we are yet to see come through are..
Weakening pound
Ramp up in post covid demand especially shipping airlines
The switch from gas to oil at 2m bpd is just massive
Supply problems from opec even hitting the 400bpd

I'm in for quite a while yet just need to keep your bottle in the dips and when the derampers start posting

Agree. The speed here is tiny so mms operating on v thin margins spreads its perfect competition pure volume supply demand driven. Not like AIM where the volume is thin and MMs have to play with the spreads and bid price to fill large single buy or sell orders
