You have to ask what would that whole end ti end d2c be worth to a client. It would be an order of magnitude higher that 1%.

1% to cover marketing via infuenxincers, product studio, SOP, logistics and back office to manage that. CoMe on he knows its wrong you can be assured any client would be saving themselves at MIN 15% possibly up to 60% on gmp his value share in any arrangement is way off the mark

1. At the outset nobody but a crazy would invest 1bn plus in a business years down line generating 1% of GMV on capacity of 14b. Max that's 140m ebit or 60m fcf after beloe line on a 1bn investment. Nobody would ever go into building an end to end D2C

2. The barriers to entry are very high in an online market growing at 10% CGR and e2e d2c higher still (hence WPP wanting in). High barrier to entry high growth businesses dont carry a 1% GMV and don't get valued at 20x plus enit by the market
3. The alterative is for a client to build their own e2e d2c infrastructure. Its alot more than 1% GMV to build ,studio work, marketing with access to.promoters, SOP and D2C logistics and support functions (finance, IT, propert, facilities) .at least 15% GMV opex plus set up capex.There is just no way THG or anyone including completion would offer that at 1% Gmv
4. Look at the 2 way value proposition THG to client. Client I'll give yiur 1% of all.you sell fir doing all that and I'll keep the 99% and save all those coasts. Sorry but its way out. The value proposition to a client is an order of magnitude above 1%

Hosai think the 60% is gross vs oke 1% net. Can't see net being 1% with all the barriers to entry and switching difficulties I'd have though 3 t0 5% probs more like 5% no body would bother at 1% give the heavy set up

Why you think 0.5bn won't be delivered.if MM is beleived (another major issue now as he clearly has a major trust issue now even with the believers) he expects 1bn anualised run rate at some point this year

The big cash pots have built again though sat waiting. 1 triliion in cash waiting for a home in VC funds KKR et al plus god knows how many trillions in mid East sovereign wealth funds. Bonds attractive at minute eith 20 year high yields and alot have parked cash there ready for rotation. Some moving back to growth recently as can be seen by the NASDAQ movements

FtSE well reported as being very cheap and with that sea of cheap THG is one if not the cheapest even now. Its all time high in absolute terms but on a PE value its around its low at a 30% discount to global PE values. Poumd is still cheap too adding to the value case.

THG 2023 fwd guidance in April will show the impact of the 20% staff redn, whey redn, non core loss making exits which can all be banked now. Add in revenue growth the whales and premium listing golden share expiry macro and its in a very different but better place to 2022 and a far better place than IPO at 500p.

The funds are coming I'm in no doubt.
