Also can see that from another document that the project is "an extension of an existing manufacturing facility" which suggests to me that BE have needed this factory to be purpose-built for what they have planned... (wink wink nudge nudge)

Back in August I checked out the Eskom Tender Bulletin website and found the BESS tenders we had all been eagerly awaiting for ages. Today I decided to do a bit of digging and found something else to get excited about.

If you visit this website (https://www.elidz.co.za/tenders/) and search for"Bushveld " you will see that a new factory in the East London is about to be constructed for Bushveld Energy.

It's evident that the Project Managers, Civil & Structural Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Architects, etc were already chosen before November, and prior to the tender process commencing for suitable & experienced building contractors to construct the BE Factory in Zone 1A of the ELIDZ complex.

The tender for the building contractors started in November and closed on 7 December.

Also I can see from the documents that it says "Possession of the site is to be given on: 22 February 2021 (Provisional)" and that construction will commence the very next day.

This factory will consist of a steel-frame building with:
- 2 exits on the East and West with covered canopied areas for loading/unloading, with the West side also having a dock leveller.
- A bespoke area for 4 "purpose-build MCC Containers manufactured and installed by the client"
- A transformer room
- An office room
- A guard house outside & a waste storage facility outside.

The cost to the Building Contractor is expected to total USD 1.8m (ZAR 27m) so the cost to Bushveld will presumably be a bit higher than that.

I couldn't see when the construction is due to complete but, seeing as it will start in late February and is merely 1 factory unit, I cannot see it taking long.

All of which will presumably come out in a RNS sometime soon : )

I'm the same as you Faramog, ever slightly down on the holding I had coming into 2020, but I've made something like 50%+ profit margin from all the Bushie shares I've bought all the way up from 10p to 20p this year, so overall I've made profit on Bushveld since the start the year despite pretty much finishing where we started. [All on paper this is. I have never sold a Bushveld share.]

It would've been rude not to take advantage of the ridiculously bargain level prices. The disparity between the inherent value and the market valuation has never been wider than it has been this year. That was especially true at 9-15p but is still very much the case now too, hence why my most recent top up was above 20p.

I will continue to accumulating shares as long as the disparity between the inherent valuation and market valuation continues to be SO WIDE.

Anything bought now will be worth 50-100% worth more within the next 3 months; and we're going to rise 5-6 times over the current valuation in the year ahead.

All in my honest opinion of course. Everyone can do as they please. I'm just saying I've never been so bullish about an individual share in my life.

11 weeks ago we closed at 10.60p. So to close the year out 84% higher than that low point is quite the achievement.

Don’t get me wrong it sucks that we’re still something like 10% down this year overall for no justifiable reason whatsoever, but we’ve certainly re-found our mojo over the past few months, and should continue with this rising trend.

Also, on a macroeconomic level, it’s clear that Vanadium Batteries have never generated such a buzz as they did in 2020 (not even in 2018), and they become even more popular as time goes on.

Also thought I’d point out that it’s not just the end of the calendar year, it’s the end of Bushveld’s Financial Year too.

This means that next week is a new FY. And why is this significant? Because it means we may get an announcement about the JSE listing (which was shelved this year due to covid).

A JSE Listing RN on Monday would be a wonderful way to start the year!

They’ve run out of money almost so they’re going to have a £500k fund raise (equity dilution) “Post Year End” (January), followed by another £500k fund raise in “Q1.” This will probably dilute shareholders’ holdings by about 15%.

Lots to love about this share since it's effectively a Green Stock with a genius business model, buying tailings on the cheap from mining companies who obviously don't want them, and converting them into metals (and safer waste by-product), which they then sell on with a huge profit margin.

The strategic move into copper, starting with buying Glencore's copper refinery in 2019, is a master stroke. This will make JLP even more profitable in a way that can't be seen in the historic reports and accounts.

- and more I'm sure

Also I really enjoyed the memes. Sorry to hear Eskom are struggling to supply electricity to everyone at present. But that is precisely why these vanadium Battery Energy Storage Systems are so vital. Vanadium Batteries do not even diminish over the years, regardless of the extent to which they're used, so they're the obvious choice for Eskom here!

In fact I was far too generous there. No tracker is doing 0.1% a trading day cos that'd work out far too high for the year. It's MUCH lower than that of course.

And actually a FTSE tracker would've lost you 15.28% over the year / about 0.059% each day during the course of 2020.

Bushveld, by comparison, has fallen roughly 12% this year. Better than the FTSE100 then. But god knows why we've fallen when V prices are back where they were in January, coronavirus has had zero effect on Bushveld, and we've instead made huge progress.

I know which horse I'd rather back next year, and it ain't the FTSE100 index tracker !

It's either that or the MMs are just playing games with us. Today's 3% drop means we're in 18.Xp territory instead of 19.Xp territory, which seems to somehow convince some people to sell their golden tickets here.

Some people need to get a ****ing grip. If you can't handle a random and unjustified >5% fall in the share price on AIM then you're in the wrong game. Go find some boring tracker fund where you can watch it rise 0.10% a day.

For those looking for a share that can multibag many times over, Bushveld is it.

It happened in 2018, and it shall happen again in 2021, except this time we have a much stronger base than ever before, and we will just continue rising. And we can then all say how we remember how the price used to sub 20p once !

There was some huge buys reported after hours, including one trade for 500,000 shares @ 20.45p = £102,000

Consequently yesterday's fall in share price made little sense either.

Feel that perhaps we've unfortunately just had too many fickle traders come on board who are now selling without realising what's about to happen on a macroeconomic and microeconomic / company-specific level.

The smart ones of us here, who know the true value of what we hold, will not be going anywhere of course. We didn't at 9p and we won't at 18-19p either. Or 29p either for that matter.

Hold strong and take advantage of this silly dip if you can

Honestly a 2 day pause in what has otherwise been consecutive days of V price rises is no reason for the sp to start falling at all.

V prices have basically returned to where they were at the start of 2020. What was the share price then? 20-23.9p

Since then we can already see in black and white that annualised production has increased 37%. That's no jam tomorrow - that's already happened and been reported.

20p - 23.9p x 137% of production levels a year ago = 27.4p - 32.7p --- this is where we should be as things stand based on Bushveld Vanadium alone (putting Bushveld Energy to one side)

And yet we're seeing a fall from 20.5p to 18.5p right now. A 10% fall over nothing. Nothing has happened to justify that fall.

LOADS has happened to justify a rise to 30-40p.

Please look at the bigger picture, and not focus on what may happen between now and lunchtime. If you do that, it's obvious the only logical choices are to hold or to take advantage of the opportunity presented to us here.

My End of next month target remains 30p+

and a lot can happen in China in the days in between, meaning V price rises will probably resume increasing by the day whilst we're unable to trade.

V prices in general will increase another 25%+ over the next few months.

With transformational news around the corner from Eskom / the World Bank also ...

...how is anyone not simply seeing this as investment to hold for a few weeks at least?

I would not want to even be out of this for the 31 Dec to 4 January gap. No ****ing way.
