Can't say I paid much attention to the ding dong between you and faramog the other day but very well done for apologising
Now let's move on and bask in what looks like should be another blue day : )
20p would give us a P/E ratio of about 10 so we’re comfortably beneath that right. Such amazing value.
So what more do the market want?
A dividend? Well JLP is in growth mode so they’re investing money into the business but the dividends will certainly come. Give it 6-12 months and we’ll have one probably
Revenue up 110%
Operating profit up 355%
EPS up 160%
etc
Absolutely amazing growth, and shows how undervalued this is.
Also I believe H2 will be even better once the company commences its huge copper production plans!
Very exciting times ahead : )
Leon Coetzer, CEO of Jubilee, commented:
"The acquisition of the rights to almost 300 million tonnes of copper and cobalt tailings with the completion of five major transactions in Zambia; the maturity of operations and continued delivery of record PGM and Chrome earnings in South Africa; and a 110 % increase in Group Revenue to £ 53.4 million resulting in attributable earnings of £ 30.9 million, are just a few of the milestones met by the Jubilee team during the six-month period under review. Despite the unprecedented challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic, H2 2020 was a period of significant growth for the Company.
"Central to achieving the above milestones is our commitment to 'The Jubilee Way', and I am extremely grateful to the Jubilee team which has continuously demonstrated its resilience and commitment to this, always striving to translate leading in-house processing and metals recovery excellency into industry leading operational efficiencies.
"We are now ramping up production with the first copper concentrator currently under construction at Project Roan and set to commence delivery of the first intermediate copper concentrate to Sable Refinery within the next three weeks. We are fully committed to achieving our target of producing 25 000 tonnes of copper per annum within the next four years."
and I can see our dip to 16.50p showing on google is due to a trade worth LESS than £100
So I believe we're currently seeing a bit of a fishing expedition under 17p and we shall return above that level later today
Is the MMs scare tactics actually working on anyone though?
In a continuation of my posts about USA being like a beast awoken to the benefits of Flow Batteries now that Biden and the Dems have beaten their climate-change-denying opposition...
I would like to point to Invinity's Oct 2020 RNS saying how California (always controlled by the Democrats - now it's the entirety of the USA!) specifically wanted to "non-lithium ion energy storage."
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/IES/invinity-chosen-for-78mwh-of-california-projects-hpohq4g6ml35dpo.html
What non-lithium Flow batteries are out there ?? Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries of course!
America is finally about to play catch up to China with VRFBs.
And it's going to send vanadium demand rocketing, and send Bushveld's profits soaring!
Daisydog, why are you so negative the entire time ??
FAR have offered IIs share at a 30% discount to the share price they closed last week on. That's massive. That's honestly like Fortune offering IIs the option to buy at 14p when we first reached 20p (something he has always refused to do of course). No wonder they could muster £5m of demand at that sort of discount.
Also let's stop calling this a placing when in reality it was a large director sell only, and the money raised is not going to the company at all. It is merely going into the CEO's pocket. In a way that many of us predicted in light of his expensive divorce settlement and decision to lock his shares in for 52 weeks ...and then ramp it up 50-51 weeks into that 52 week period!
The whole thing stinks to high heaven, it is nothing to be envious of.
Yet perhaps you would be better off being a FAR holder the way you continually spread negativity on here.
Best of luck to you!
- Ridiculously low market valuation at present vs any analysis of Fair Value. Let’s not forget annualised production has already increased almost 40% since the start of the year, and is due to increase so much more over the next year. On this basis alone, ignoring all the exciting non-mining/Green operations, we should be at 40p+ already.
- Green Stock as well as an excellent mining stock. Not widely perceived to be Green yet but this will change suddenly when the Eskom news lands.
- Investors Chronicle, Financial Times, Myles McNulty, and many others have all tipped BMN at the start of the year.
- Out of hundreds of companies, Stockopedia came up with their Top 20 tips for 2021, and BMN came 3rd (and will do better than the two above it!)
- Vanadium prices have risen massively in recent weeks, and are expected to reach $45gV at the bare minimum this year, and BMN's share price always seem to track the commodity price sooner or later! (there's a huge gap at present!)
- Vanadium prices are now rising so fast I believe we will see $45kgV in April

Upcoming Newsflow:
- Vametco Phase III expansion project news (using Orion Funding)
- Vanchem Phase I refurbishment news (using Orion Funding)
- Enerox news - MoU with AVL (https://themarketherald.com.au/australian-vanadium-asxavl-up-15-pc-after-deal-with-enerox-2020-09-09/). Which obviously suggests the company is expecting us to be involved with the goliath Eskom BESS contracts.
- Invinity news (because it's very clear they're picking up lots of work and we have the option to supply the vanadium for all these VRFB projects)
- Electrolyte Plant Construction phase start in Q1. This was pencilled in to start on 22 Feb so truly is imminent, and this may get a separate RNS in itself. For proof: Check the tender docs on the ELIDZ tender website https://www.elidz.co.za/tenders/
- JSE Listing News and/or Main Market News. This clearly will happen - just watch this video interview with the CEO at 33 mins in for Fortune's comments on this topic - https://youtu.be/AX_WdScGDVw
- Eskom BESS Tender News
- Vanadium commodity prices to rise above the psychologically significant $40kgV mark very v soon
- And let's not forget how the BOD are actively promoting themselves to investment houses at the moment.
End of year target: 100p+
Trust all your research and remember that Big News is coming, and it'll then be like buses!
GLA but we're onto a winner here !
Yeah, like Alfa said, it truly is a case of the being bought up by Baillie Gifford and consequently changing strategies and selling many holdings in a sweeping brush sort of way, that was not specific to BMN at all.
And, as you know, these funds cannot set a strategy and then choose to ignore it on some occasions because otherwise that provides no clarity as to what investors into that fund are actually going to be invested in.
.
2nd only to EU prices rises, which have rocketed up 27% in that 3 month time frame.
http://www.asianmetal.com/VanadiumPrice/Vanadium.html
This is why vanadium stocks are soaring
So why has BMN fallen despite all of this? Very bad luck.
Keystone IT sold out 100% of their 13m shares in February, simply due a change in strategy which had nothing to do with Bushveld or vanadium at all.
We've had 3m of director sells to pay tax liabilities they couldn't afford otherwise because they've been paid in shares all these years. Again nothing sinister, they had no choice.
Fidelity appear to have sold 4m shares in February for reasons I'm not sure of to be honest.
You've then had Jvetch sell his ~2m shares reluctantly on Friday even though he's still very bullish here and plans to return.
So that's 16m shares coincidentally sold all at the same time, because they were forced to do so, which has ruined sentiment, and triggered some more sells.
Had Keystone not changed it's strategy so it did not have to sell their entire 13m share holding fast then we would easily be 20p-25p, and pushing upwards still.
So yeah it's incredibly bad luck really. But it will certainly turn around. I can feel it coming in the same way I did in November/early December : )
that the USA are quickly becoming a completely different beast to what we've seen in recent years
Know I've mentioned it before but the fact the Democrats have taken over the Holy Trinity that is the Presidential Office, the Senate, and Congress for the first time in a decade is massive for green energy and battery storage.
They've only been in power a couple of months and already we're seeing so much more from the USA than we had done during the past few years when Trump & the climate-change-denying Republicans were in control.
As I said earlier when I shared with you all earlier the recent vanadium news we've seen just in the last couple of weeks, it's clear that the USA are going to become a major adopter of Flow Batteries, which the Democrats see as vital for the future.
And, as we've now seen, the USA are now paying higher prices than even the Chinese for vanadium. When was the last time that happened? I honestly cannot remember.
So we now appear to have the world's 2 super powers appearing to be gearing up to battle it out for metals critical to making their respective countries' energy systems more sustainable, more reliable, and generally just greener.
Meanwhile you have the likes of South Africa, Australia, Saudi Arabia, and others now adopting VRFB technology like never before.
This therefore feels like that we're at a historically important moment in time in a way that'll become more apparent as time goes on.
And we're lucky enough to be invested in the best primary vanadium producer in the world, who will be making extraordinary profits as a result of rising vanadium prices!
So I believe things are going to pick up for us very very soon, and the next few years will look nothing like the past.

Whoa didn't expect US vanadium commodity prices to exceed China's.
This will now force China to increase the prices they're buying imported vanadium for in order to remain the destination of choice for primary producers like Bushveld to sell to.
The last few months of price rises must now look like some sort of auction with all the bids from China, the USA, and the EU rising gradually up and up
... and it's only just getting started !
* So we should see the Vanadium commodity price rally continue strongly over the next few weeks and months.
And, as Myles McNulty said it himself yesterday: "...During which time #BMN will generate mega cash" hence why he remains a happy holder.
Onwards and upwards : )

"If China really does embrace the VRFB, even on a limited scale (bear in mind each 100MW project, requires c. 2,500 mtV), then vanadium demand is going to rocket. Its as simple as that."
