Yes for me this is the big one - Coho and Cascadura will provide the basis for huge growth and income for TXP but a strike at Chinook on similar basis to Cas would be utterly transformational not only for TXP but for many of us here
I began this journey with an equal amount of Trin and TXP and as things have developed moved all into TXP and much more also - way too much to be honest and now with 65% of my portfolio in here I’m starting to feel a little nervous !!
Let’s hope the move in Canada last night - albeit small volume is the start of a move up towards drill results in 10 days ??
I am confident- think PB 50% COS could in reality be nearer 80% with what has been learnt from Cas
Let’s not forget this well is not pure exploration as oil was seen on drill bit back in the day

Ian - being full time would allow for research / due diligence to be done on any potential ipo’s that would make great investments for us as shareholders in the future

Bought into Prim about 4 weeks ago at about 3p on the basis of effectively buying assets for half there true value and a play on GGP.
I’m very happy to support a board shakeup / new board if that means we see the fair value of Prim being shown

I agree Spawny- highly unlikely to be drill related as way too soon
Cascadura spud on 4/10 and we had results on 16/12 Yes that drill had mechanical issues and was side tracked and was also 2000 ft short of target
Chinook being drilled with much upgraded rig so hopefully no mechanical issues but likely news not before end Sept
A NGC contract signed up would be great news at this point to curtail the drift

These results are spectacular- pity the response is pretty muted -value always bigs out in the end
10% discount to NAV would be a good start and that would come with a dual listing as has been talked about here

I am waiting in anticipation of update next week
How can the gap between NAV and market cap divulge so far - it doesn’t make sense to me
Is it just that North Energy Is so far under the radar or that the investments are at the more risky end and don’t appeal to the average “investment trust”
investor ?
I also have a holding in Primorus- and they have a NAV of £8m and market cap of £4m - ludicrous!! There main holding is GGP
