Thought I'd have a gander online & attempt to build a short list of possible companies who could be the buyer. While browsing I came across Gate Energy who are a stones throw away in Sevenoaks. I don't recall any mention in the past of a relationship with them? https://www.gate-energy.uk
They mention Morocco in their case studies..
"Comprehensive geophysical support for the Moroccan operating division of a UK listed oil and gas company. Integrated into the exploration team providing interpretation and evaluation from late stage 3D PSDM processing, through the seismic interpretation, resource estimates and risk/peer review committees. This was followed by presentation to technical, operating and management committees including government to provide input into the company strategy in Morocco."
Of course may be no link but the services they offer grabbed my attention.
Plucked it from the RNS pal. £112m for 51%. What's the other 49% worth? Then there's the income from GAS sales & whatever they decide to do with Sidi.
I should have took a page from Shaun's book & said at least.
After much deliberation I've bought more today (Shown as a sell incidentally). Over the years I've invested so much money that I'm prepared to risk a little bit more to have a better chance at making a return. The fact I've doubled my holding is sobering though.
IF the deal goes through it should be a 10 bag from here.
I thought I’d have calmed down a bit since this morning but I’m still absolutely livid. 7% dilution for £1.35m is just ridiculous. I feel for all holders but my ‘underpinned’ investment is worth so little now I hope the deal falls through out of spite.
He could have but the fact he hasn’t speaks volumes.
1) He’s worried he won’t be getting the original debt back.
2) They don’t give a f*** about shareholders.
Once this private company do their due diligence they will run a mile.
You can bet he was paid handsomely to leave after doing f all when he was here.
The dilution has effectively killed any chance of people getting their money back. It’s absolutely criminal how this has played out.
