Can you explain why you are buying them? They've done nothing but go down and Trump's policy won't help.I've tried to make on these but apart from the div. they are hopeless.
This is happening a few times recently where a price has been beaten down excessively, only to be completely proven wrong by an update. It shows lack of confidence in the market, but misplaced in many circumstances.
Tesco reckon it will add 1 billion pounds to the wage bill in 25/26.That is equivalent to around 10p. EPS.On their margins it would be very difficult to claw all that back.So this must mean a substantial hit to profits in 25/26 surely.
I don't know how you can buy these shares when you don't know for sure what compo CBG are in for.Are they doing business at present or is all on hold?I suppose we should get an insight in their update on Nov.21st.
What is the maximum compensation amount that they can absorb without going bust? Also how long will it be before they will have to actually start paying out?
Thanks for all your comments. The TNAV at last accounts was 9.7 pounds which equates to 1455 mill. The other important metrics is the CET1 value which is 12.8%,but could be increased with actions. They'll need it
.Also profits could be well down through less contracts.
MDB were always waiting for the final results, thus April decision.Question is why are so many people selling?Even with two people bidding they obviously think that it won't happen. The whole thing is very unusual.
Is everything on a wing and a prayer with this share? If Salt takes off,if Guident starts earning,if Bell. starts producing and so on.The price just sinks back to where it was.
All is right about this company, but the problem is few people are buying the shares at the moment and so shares aren't moving.Crazy price after results,on a forward p/e of 5.That's the UK market for you-move to USA!
