Its global customer base and brand recognition are driving a step-change in revenue potential.
Investors in diagnostics specialist group Novacyt (NCYT:AIM) have been treated to two important pieces of news.
Earnings estimates are available for the first time since the company listed on AIM in 2017 after Numis starting research coverage on the stock, which has gone up by 7,190% in value this year.
Numis analyst Stefan Hamill believes Novacyt could emerge as a ‘long-term diagnostics winner’ based on a credible three-pillar strategy of organic, research and development, and accretive acquisitive growth.
Given the uncertain nature of when and if an effective vaccine becomes available, Hamill has modelled four scenarios labelled bear, base, bullish and blue-sky and then weighted them with the base and bullish cases each receiving 40% and the bear and blue-sky cases each getting 10%. The calculation values the business at £13.65 per share versus a 930p price at the time of writing.

Last week, Greatland Gold (GGP) hit an all-time high of 27p, taking its market capitalisation over £1bn. This is the same size as Highland Gold Mining (HGM), a 300,000 ounce (oz) a year producer with a forecast cash profit of $286m (£221m) this year, according to FactSet.

The usual Motley Fool crap to fool the unsuspecting:
1: "I can see why this share is (positive bla-bla-bla)"
2: "However, I would consider (negative bla-bla-bla)"
3: "Instead, I'd look at (what piece of crap they're trying to sell)"
Newcrest Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Sandeep Biswas, said
“Drilling results from Havieron and Red Chris continued to expand the known mineralisation with high grade intercepts. Our ownership of Havieron over the year increased to 40% as we track towards 70% underpinning the future of Telfer."
Interesting comments on Greatland Gold from a piece in 'The Next Small Cap' this morning:
The Havieron discovery is perhaps the biggest WA gold exploration success story of the last 12 months. The AIM-listed Greatland Gold (AIM: GGP), who has a 30% interest in Haveiron, is up 840% in 9 months and is now worth almost A$1 billion.
Greatland Gold (AIM: GGP) might just be the biggest Western Australian gold exploration success story of the last 12 months, but in Australia the London-listed explorer has flown under the radar.

Part of a research note from Turner Pope:
Having recently put thenecessary financial resources in place, Avacta nowappears positionedto reach a number of major inflection points. While timingremains of the essence for anyCOVID-19 therapeutic development, the broader research opportunity that now also encompasses potential application for future global pandemics could create exceptional long-term value. The wider ambition of the JV to also control infectious respiratory disease outbreaksthat already commandmulti-billiondollarmarkets furtherhighlights the development potential offered throughAffimer molecules.
Today’s news covers just one of anumber ofambitious and rapidly developing projects Avacta presently has underway, all of which address areas of major growth potential. Although, given the development stage and rapidly moving background, it is not presently possible to award specific, high confidencevalue to any of these, successful delivery could further multiply Avacta’s current market valuation in the relatively near-term.
The recent Covid-19 pandemic has pushed the price of gold to a hair’s whisker of its record high reached almost a decade ago. Investors should expect the rally to continue beyond that level, at least in the medium term, experts say.
“We continue to be bullish on gold, believe that gold will make a new all- time high in US$, and that gold will make new all-time highs in all currencies,” states a recent report from Wolfe Research.

Couldn't have come at a better time:
The price of gold is set to surge to record highs this year analysts have said as investors flock to 'safer' assets amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The US dollar gold price reached a nine-year high today and is currently hovering at around the $1,856 mark. The all-time record is $1,920.
A new record high for gold against the US dollar is expected 'in the coming weeks', helping to complete the set with gold prices already at record highs against all other G8 currencies, Michael Hewson, chief analyst at CMC Markets UK, said.
Edward Morse, global head of commodity research at Citi, said he thinks gold prices are likely to hit unprecedented levels in the next six to nine months. Morse thinks there is a 30 per cent chance that the $2,000 gold price mark could be reached in just three months time.

Investors trapped in Neil Woodford's former flagship fund have missed out on a huge windfall after administrators sold shares in a firm that later rocketed 420.6 per cent higher.
Shares in Southampton-based drug maker Synairgen were trading as high as 240p yesterday – up from 36.5p on Friday – after bosses revealed a 'game-changing' new treatment for coronavirus patients. They eventually closed at 190p.
Link Fund Solutions, which manages the collapsed fund, sold its holdings in Synairgen last month for less than £10million. Those shares were worth £40.5million at yesterday's closing price.
