It's 2 years to the day since we first went into lockdown and still no idea if Sng will get to market. Some saying cut RM and team some slack, absolutely not. They've had plenty of time and cash to get this right, questions quite rightly need to be asked.
Nothing new really is the RNS that we didn't already know.
Think our only hope is the fact that Polygon have kept adding - let's hope they force some kind of takeover and put us all out of our misery.
I just don't believe that RM & team will get this over this line by themselves. I think they need to admit defeat that they've fluffed the trial and now need external help. If not a slow death to the end awaits.
Could well be that activ2 P3 never starts, not a good sign if the US are pulling back on funding for covid.
Currently up 93% in the USA
Still alive & kicking, though only just! Let's hope for a takeover in between all this mess, SNG need to finally accept defeat that they'll never bring this to market on their own.
Panic selling indeed, hold for gold.
"We know it works"
Got to agree that an update is needed early next week, we need to know where we go from here.
It's all good and well facing the cameras when you're trying to raise £87m, but when it vanishes into thin air, investors would like an explanation and a plan as to how we get that back.
Correct you can't just off load 22% of shares at the drop of a hat.
It's all good and well suggesting Polygon are buying to bring their average down but they'll need a buyer. Not an easy task at all.
It's a very risky move.
I posted earlier (around 2pm) that I believe Polygon are buying to force a £2 takeover, on behalf of someone else. For some reason this comment was deleted.
Hold on to your shares and you might just end up with your stake back and a little bit of beer money on top.
Few people mentioning big losses on here, remember you only lose when you sell!
Personally I'm holding tight onto mine, the price is far too low to even consider selling. I also believe there's more to come from SNG and that the story isn't over.
We may have to be patient for some months, but maybe just maybe, you might get your stake back.
If you can hold your nerve and hold on tight, then all might not be lost. We just need an update from RM as to where we go from here. Yes this has been done in the form of an RNS, but we need to hear from his personally.
We're still in the game is the US and with good data from the P2, there is still hope.
Let the dust settle and then see what the road ahead looks like.
I don't think the trial was flawed at all, things have just moved on in a hospital setting re. Covid. The standard treatment is now steroids to treat covid. Those on placebo can't be refused this treatment, they have had to be given something.
This is why our trial hasn't reached its end points of: 1) recovery time 2) lenght of stay. Due to the fact that those on placebo are already receiving treatment.
If we'd have focused solely on "reduce numbers of deaths"- we'd be on to a winner.
Not sure why this hasn't been spun in the data read out. It reduces deaths by 30-40%! who wouldn't get authorisation for a drug that reduces deaths in hospital especially with safety data to back it up.
Re. Polygon throwing us under a bus, they're in the same position as most of us. If they walk away now, they do so at a considerable loss. I think they'll need to sit tight like the rest of us or they'll have to buy more to bring their average down.
Difficult days and decisions ahead, but for me I'll be parking my shares in a drawer for now. Far too early to make a rash decision by selling up.
There's plenty more twist and turns ahead.
RM and co must have plan as to where the company goes from here. They've not just been handed an envelope with the results this morning.
They will have known results weren't pretty for a few weeks now.
Think an update from RM is the next day or so is vital.
Looks like there were right when they said all anti-virals aren't the same!
The £1.08 share price last week, doesn't look so bad now. I'd snap your hand off!
I'll check flights coming in to Southampton, if someone can check the taxis?
Whilst people may not agree with Andyb & Mr costs, at what point is it acceptable to start asking questions?
If you don't toe the line on here, you're classed as a deramper or "you clearly don't own any shares"
The "we know it works" strap line is on repeat daily here, but no orders to back it up. As each day passes it's only right to question RM.
Let's cut people some slack who dare to question what's going on.
Looks like Mr Costs has sold a job lot of shares, hence the early morning drop.
I think Sng's latest tweet is a big nod to all investors that the results are really good. You don't start tweeting stuff about all anti-virals not being the same and knowing the difference for no good reason. They know it works.
Lol
Why would we let JVT reveal anything about synairgen, he's had nothing to do with us. Are people really surprised?
We've not released P3 data and would we really let JVT steal the limelight?
It's all about Sir Stephen Holgate and RM.
Move along nothing to see.
I can't see why Sng would JVT anywhere near this annocument
