I discussed with my brother that we needed to survive longer to gain access to new medications that were in development—sadly, he didn't make it. In January 2020, I bought my first shares of BioNTech. I didn't, and still don't, have much of an understanding of how trading works, but I wanted to contribute to development, however small. Two weeks after the purchase, BioNTech recognized the opportunity presented by the Covid pandemic—the share price exploded. Now I've invested in Scancell and, like everyone here, I'm hoping for profits. But most importantly for me, I hope for progress in therapy.

These are statistical statements that say nothing about individual survival chances. Even with a 99% survival rate, I could still be the patient who, unfortunately, belongs to the 1% who die. Improvements, however, offer hope, and hope is a crucial element in the fight against cancer. I also find Marcus's comment interesting that iSCIB+ can better prevent recurrences in later stages. Even with current tumor-free status, the fear of a recurrence is always present.

In my opinion, this appointment, and others like it, aligns with the company's strategy. We can certainly look forward to further positive announcements in the near future. The expertise of the advisory board members is not limited to oncology topics. Take Mike Holmes, for example: "He was formerly Vice President and Head of Global Oncology Medical Affairs at MSD, with a proven record of shaping strategy for leading oncology assets including Keytruda®, Lenvima®, and Lynparza®. As Director and Founder of Holmes Darcy Pharma Consulting and Director at Circuit Medical, he advises pharmaceutical and biotech organizations on global strategy, regulatory engagement, clinical development, and medical affairs innovation." The advisory board members come, in the order they are listed, from the USA, UK, Australia, Italy, UK, Netherlands, UK, USA, USA, and Germany. This is a clear indication of the expansion strategy, and it should also be clear that these experts are not simply "flogging a dead horse." These experts all have access to major pharmaceutical companies at various levels and possess the knowledge and network to organize studies in their respective countries.

The question that arises for me is: Why is a small company researching cancer therapies able to assemble internationally recognized oncology experts on its advisory board? Surely not just because of its excellent network through Lindy! Answering this question prompted me to buy more shares.

I had a poor prognosis when my illness began in 2018, and I was plagued not only by numerous bone and brain metastases but also by severe side effects from immunotherapy. But I fought and have been metastasis-free for some time now, although they can always return. iSCIB1+ promises not only a significant improvement over standard therapy but also no worsening of side effects.
