If I were you, I'd indeed focus on my IT business. If cash is not a problem for you and you can spare 8 grand, leave your SEPU money where it is, but look daily at this stock so you see when it starts leaping (or, very unlikely falling) so you can start thinking selling any/all/none of it. AKA0 One more thing I'd add: I found that I can balance risk and safety by investing at least half my holdings in a very small number of shares that I know will yield return in the medium term (i.e. 6 months to two years), while I use the rest on shorter term trades (holdings of 1 week to 3 months usually). So I have that sort of safety cushion, and also get in the action - it helps pander to the two sides of my personality. However, no shares are safe, including the safer ones I referred to below. So make sure you don't invest more than you are ready to lose.
