And by the approval, I meant the early approval aimed at this COVID-19 outbreak.
I don't understand, pranchalee
I appreciate your optimism, but I have no faith in Fimea to approve Traumakine's medicinal status. Something else has to happen; outside pressure. They want to avoid another Biotie as much as possible.
I know she is but you have to remember that her hands are tied on all things regarding Faron on political and economical levels.
Nice translation Itsallamess, you took charge when I failed to bother. One small clarification; the term "unauthorized" in the end comes from "myyntilupaa vailla". It points to the petition which said that the drug is "just lacking sales permit", implying it's almost on the market (not going to comment if it is or is not; let the other so that). Of course Fimea disagrees on this point.
tl.dr: the term "unauthorized" is better translated to "just lacking sales permit"

Now the number of signers is over 1500, albeit most of them are obviously common people jumping in after the publicity Turun Sanomat magazine gave it. Many of the names are hidden from public, so hard say for sure. I'm sure we'll see more discussion about this later this week.
From not very reliable sources, I mean rumour is a rumour.
Mhm. Though, you probably haven't met Finnish bureaucratic robots before.. When the world is burning and there's but one building standing, they will be inside arranging their approval and inspection files.
Not sure how it will affect anything in the big picture but there's a formal petition signed by around 250 people (rumour says medical experts/researchers) here in Finland going to Fimea (governing body for medical sales permits etc.) on Friday. The petition asks for the release of Traumakine for critical COVID-19 patients. I must say, though, Fimea tends to take a dry stand on releasing anything that is not "proven" in scientific studies, no matter the emergency or situation. For them this is a drug that has not proven to do anything better than placebo (previous trial). Just a heads up.
I feel the price difference between the two marketplaces will vanish today and tomorrow, then we have a new baseline.
That comes without saying. I was just wondering how many pieces each side has.
What is the current distribution of "free float" on NAS and on AIM? What's the difference; can it be seen somewhere?
I hope don't mean me.. I got my price drop, now ready to go up again! Not sure how often doctors try experimental drugs here, but large amount of traumakine would be there, ready to be prescribed.
I mean, if it didn't come off as obvious, my strategy is to buy in strongly after the (potential) drop.
Yeah, sorry about that, but I'm a Finn, so it's ok. 8)
Is potential partner doing buys like that allowed? Sounds like a thin line to tread to me.
It's ok Zen. It was just my opinion that I had to share to get it off my chest, no one is forced or even encouraged to take it as anything but that.
Sorry, my words came off a bit unclear in the middle. I meant that Markku seemed sceptical that Traumakine would come to markets before the full trial III is done. He seemed adamant in his opinion; there was some "fast access" possibilities, he mentioned but they relate to clinical doctors personally testing the drug or some other early experimental uses.
My two cents (I registered to post here - long time lurker). I love the enthusiasm here and actually think most of it is extremely warranted, especially the Clevegen potential. However, all that is still "in the long term" and many preach of drastic short term profits; or continuing profits, I mean this already profited in the short term quite the amount. I would agree on all of that too, if the Traumakine was on the verge of coming to markets, however yesterday when I watched the Faron presentation from Pörssi-ilta, Markku came off quite adamant and sceptical (and honest, I think) about Traumakine hitting markets before 2-3 year trial III is over. So, the situation didn't change much; in my opinion not enough to warrant the stock price rise in Finland. I think the price rise may have came from small to medium size investors jumping in after the article about Faron and corona in Talouselämä. A connection Markku didn't embrace. I'm expecting the price to drop as the opportunists realize their profits. Remember, this is ONLY MY NON-EXPERT OPINION, I might be totally wrong, so feel free to disagree. In any case, GLA, and I think we're all on the winning side in the long run whatever happens.
