build up to Trading update

As they say, only invest what you can afford to lose. I started off with only investing £500 but steadily increased over time, at least he/she is investing, plenty are on the side lines. Unfortunately, the heavy investments don't tend to work out and those were I put a smaller amount in seem to succeed, overall balances out. Just need some winners this year as the last two years have been dreadful.

Yep that is also puzzling me, and can only think that some of them are sells, hence why we are down. I have some good companies but there is a seller in each one, some ridiculous valuations. Some thankfully have bounced once the seller is out. Unfortunately, it is gauging when that will happen. Also keep on eye on lumber prices, the chart is a similar pattern to WBI. That seems to have bottomed out.

Just read the thread, didn't realise I stepped into a disagreement. For what its worth the 400k is a sell.

I would say buys, most of the buys on the afternoon were 35.50, with sells around 35.00.

Yes I can echo those sentiments, jumped in at 50p. Should be a good recovery play. Full year trading update at end of January/first week in February.

Well, I have been in this share for over two years, so I definitely have patience, but expected this to hold around the 8p area. Quite concerning the drop and the size of some of the sells on no news - not sure what to make of that given that we should be close to news - just hope someone doesn't know something we don't!!

Well that's the last time I average down. Totally agree complete disgrace of a Company!!! Lost a small fortune for me. From being able to afford a decent holiday to just about managing to afford a McDonalds.

LOL, that also seems to be my speciality as well, bought in just below 99p. Not too concerned at the moment with news coming regarding the gas connection. The other speciality of mine is marking down a share to buy on the morning, getting carried away with work forgetting to buy, having a look later and seeing its gone up 20 to 30% ie GBP this morning - DOH.

You and many others including myself, but comfortable hold with all the works on-going, mine expansion, political issues around the world and inflation. Surprised we are still at this level.

The EU should stop using Russian fuels in half a decade, Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has told a summit of the bloc's leaders.

"We are too dependent on Russian fossil fuels," she tweets, as EU leaders meet in Versailles to discuss the issue.

Von der Leyen says she'll propose a plan in mid-May to "phase out" Russian oil, gas and coal by 2027.

That's quicker than a plan the EU announced on Tuesday to make Europe independent of Russian fossil fuels by 2030.

I been looking forward to December for the last four years!!! Average at about 2.5p. Averaged down a lot and ended up with shares far beyond I ever wanted, will never average down again, after this and BOO. Will take notice of chartists in future when a company is in a downward direction. Hey hum, waiting game, but there are worst things in the world at the moment.

Reg which post are you referring to, I've seen plenty today. Lets hope for some improvement on the back of the late flourish.

I do wonder as to the motives behind the podcast as all this has done is decimate the share price at present. Surely, Carl wasn't that naïve that this wouldn't be the reaction. Either don't do it or at least have better responses prepared, or with a decent podcaster such as CRUX. Just hope sentiment improves towards the end of this quarter and positive news is released.
