I hold a belief that there will be positive news come Fridays meeting. It is normal to have some kind of positive news in support of voting through the company equity being turned in to shares.
Things should get better from late Friday or early next week.

My only connection with the area is being a member of a pub quiz team in Hampshire called:-

Not dismissing your view, but I would much rather the government did not have a financial relationship on which they could influence how Omega conducts themselves.
I totally understand what you are saying, but I am very comfortable with the way they have structured finances and believe it will be very healthy for all concerned in the long run.

The positive with raising funds through Equity is that the business is not saddled with debt and subject to interest payments.
Again this business has set its stall out, yes the risk is with investors, although the strategic plan is pretty damn robust and we are seeing the first few building blocks of great things coming through.
Senior employees have exercised share options, which signals they see good fortunes ahead too.
Roll on middle of July when the SP should start going North.

Upomega, you have to analyse the business as it is today, not how it used to be.

For me it is more to do with the mechanics of the placing and share offer. Once this has been processed and approved, the brakes will be off.

If you have an issue with the Concept of the share price doing its thing, investing is not for you.
There is nothing any of us can do to impact the share price. All you can do is undertake in depth research, assess risk, and invest appropriately. If the business plan comes off all well and good, if it doesn’t so be it, the share price will rise or fall.
Too many people want to put money in today and expect a return tomorrow, or get hysterical when the SP goes below their average.
There are a few excellent commentators on this board who have it nailed. I am not really interested in the vast majority of tittle tattle that gets put up on these boards.
Business is business, what will be will be, it certainly looks to me like a very solid and developing business here. Just have to wait and see how it all pans out, if it goes as planned there will be a return. But don’t expect quick bucks.

I don’t think Colin is looking for blame or is even worried at all. He is doing a very good job at positioning Omega for a period of growth with quality solutions in a number of sectors.
The share price will do its thing in time.
Just need to chill and let them get on with the business.

Colin is absolutely the right man, he has transformed this business and just because he is not good at media, does not give reason to question him.
A media / PR spokes person would I am sure assist.

What happened to Wallbrook? Were they not doing PR.?

Have to say Dibs, your attitude towards Piper and others is appalling.
If you have done research in to this business and also the market, product development process etc you would embrace everything Piper says.
Piper is one of the few posters who provides a reality check.
The reality check on anything you post Dibs fails miserably. Therefore filter bin for you.

I have topped up now at a really good price without the gamble of whether I would get any extra 40p shares I have applied for. Quite happy to be honest.
I cannot see it dipping below 40p and might have to live with this for 40-45p base for a week or two.

It is no surprise, and at least a good opportunity to top up rather than wait for any extra unallocated placing shares.
Sit tight and it will come good.

Whilst the board has gone crazy, the sensible posters are thankfully still here to offer decent insight and opinion.
Hopefully the dross will disappear over the next few days.

Some people appear to lack an understanding of this business, their products and market.

If it goes below 40p it will stop Omega getting any funds through the placing as people won’t take up the offer.
It’s in a misleading level though at present to be fair, and will rise.

Most Chief Execs are not renowned for their public speaking. People have said it, he probably needs a media spokesperson. But he is clearly running the business well, and the road ahead is mapped out and looks very positive.

Sooty, there can only be one set of facts, and your bungle of a post is not it.
Therefore it is a quick sweep of sooty in to the filter bin.

Is there less buys going through.? I am waiting to see how many of the extra shares applied for I can purchase before making other purchases. If there is a general hold off from buying that would account for little movement.
