Good to see decent buys coming in again this morning. If we can consolidate this and then kick on into close and next week that would be great. GLA

Relax folks. We’ve been here before with these consolidations. Eventually we breakout and form another leg higher.

Then guess what will happen? We will have another consolidation higher up where again we will have to exercise some patience! It’s been like this since the rise from the lows.

Done it a few times already and happy to wait out this consolidation also.

Great to see the RNS confirm:

1) It was oversubscribed.

2) Full allocation raised - easily it seems!

3) Dynamic participated and maintained their holding.

There's been huge buying in the mid 20s, that if this does revisit the lower 20s, I can see it being bought into very quickly. So will a last top up opportunity present itself or not, and if so, for how long? I would expect a strong bounce tomorrow! All imo and dyor

I've taken an initial position on this pullback. Will add more once it turns back up. I think this has a decent way to run yet and will have a strong close to the week tomorrow. But let's see. GLA

The share price was motoring towards the 30s before the placing. The placing has caused it to pause, but what this pause has enabled is for SO much stock in the 20s to be accumulated. We have all seen the massive trades coming in since the placing. The placing has allowed as new and existing instis (and retail) to add to their holdings. We have largely chewed through the cheaper warrants. No more warrants issued as part of this placing either.

We now have £15 million in the coffers (i'm expecting the balance to come from the remaining warrants).

Locked and loaded and ready to go. It's going to some charge towards £1 and beyond here imho. Assuming macros remain favourable and no calamity strikes the markets!

What a ridiculous comment and shows a very bitter/antagonistic mindset at work here. This has already one bagged from the lows and on it's highest levels of volume ever. That's on anticipation of the newsflow, inc the DFS. So the DFS has already moved this, even though it's not out yet. So the very opposite of your dumb observation.

Useful tip for you: try scrolling the chart to the right so you can the share price action for the last 3/4 months.

Friday FOMO back on me thinks!

Lots of folks holding a few bags here, so not surprising to see continued profit taking coming. This is not one of those shares where you have enough confidence in the outcome to risk your profits following a placing - unlike say OMI.

I would question whether they will go straight into an expanded drilling programme. There will surely have to be a break in drilling, likely of a few months at least, during which they will review the outcome of this drilling campaign and then plan and contract the expanded one?

Doc - depends what time the placing closes on 2 Oct. They will also then need to prep and lodge the placing RNS. So we might get it tomorrow, and if so, it could be anytime tomorrow. Or it might not land until Friday, possibly even Monday.

Eitherway, like you and others, I would imagine they have a blockbuster RNS lined up for us for next week though.

I think 1911 has had much more attention than OMI, including from DD's subsequent comments. Therefore, not sure how many people appreciate that OMI was his only other 50 bagger pick. I believe DD's focus is more on producers than explorers. 1911 is already a junior producer and is at the point that OMI will be in after PEPAS goes into production. The thing is, OMI then becomes the better bet, because it will have much lower operating costs than 1911 for its producing asset (PEPAS), but (I think) with a lot more upside across that producing asset, AS WELL as across the rest of its portfolio.

1911 is a great forerunner for us - where it goes, we will surely follow and surpass imho!

Not the best time to have a placing either during what are seasonally the weakest months. Needs to hold this level, otherwise it's going to head to 1p!

If they complete the infill drilling this month, then the MRE could land in November. I'm hoping we'll hear from BG very shortly. I mean, a LOT has happened since the last webinar and we want to know what he has planned for the £15 million!

Just hope the rising POG is all economics/finance related, and gold is not preparing for WW3. I mean, what use are our OMI financed Ferraris/Lambos going to be when up against fighter jets and ballistic missiles?

Excellent timing now for OMI to release the placing concluded RNS and then the latest results and update.

This is the level where the share price has always 'struggled'. It's likely to be a key supply zone, which is what we are seeing playing out. But the share price has risen 100% in getting to this point. So we can expect some consolidations after such a rise, and this is probably a logical place for this to happen.

I remain confident that we will breakout at some point in the very near future - if I wasn't, then I would have been taking profits as well... obviously!

Not heard from MR in a while...?

In a way, they can 'talk the talk', but weren't willing to 'walk the walk' and take a chance on their own drilling results it seems. But who can blame them as most juniors would probably do the same.

It's retail who are expected to gamble on the results being good!

It should be clear to all that rightly or wrongly, these assays results would have been make or break for WSBN. If they did not return any gold, or limited gold, the share price would have fallen back to previous lows. That's just how AIM works and this has happened to WSBN a few times before. They know this! Never would they have been able to raise the funds they have today. No chance!

So they have taken the money whilst it's available. How much does it have to do with expansion? I doubt that was the primary motivation, more just a case of striking whilst the opportunity was there (inc bull market for gold). I think a lot of AIM companies would take the money. All imho and dyor
