It might not be true that this is a lifestyle company, but it is certainly not farcical to suggest that it is one or question that. Arguably, it has many of the features of a lifestyle company. And the salary received is certainly not modest either, far from it actually. Ultimately, the people that I feel are best placed to judge these matters are the lth (if there are many of them left). Only they can really talk from first hand experience about the following:
1) CEO's performance in that time, against what has been promised to them.
2) Track record of actual follow through on the many announcements made in that time, including the many MOUs, LOIs and meetings with important sounding people.
3) Why if the CEO/BOD are so great, they have achieved no value or growth for ORCP to date. In fact, trashed the value and growth and delivered simply massive dilution.
4) What is going to be different this time round and why? How are the types of announcements being made now, materially different to the announcements made in the past, and will end a cycle of rinse and repeat?
These are the kinds of questions that lth are well placed to consider. Are there any here who have been invested here for 3 years or more who can give their views on the above?
With very few exceptions, I've often noticed that those who defend this company often do so by making very bland, wishy washy statements and give bullish forecasts, but without really then explaining why those bullish things are not happening already and capturing the market's attention. I mean these are supposedly massive projects with big backing, so you would think the market would be all over them? Surely, not all of the big/smart money is asleep and oblivious to this massive GH project and its big backers, for example. So why aren't new large shareholders jumping on board for this obvious multi-bag scenario unfolding before their eyes? Is it because a lot of the market sees it as a ramp, rinse and repeat exercise, a hunting ground for mainly traders, and not serious investors. All imo and DYOR
