RE: When you filter Tygra and Legalwolf you realise18 May 2023 12:10
Let's be honest, anyone who has bought at higher levels has totally mistimed their entry here. They have bought into a downtrend of the share price, AND into a pattern of dilution at successively lower levels. Now they are chasing it down, rather than following it up. As I have read and heard a few times now from successful investors - "only losers average down losers." No rational and logical investor would want to follow this kind of approach, or would see this as successful investing? Surely, it's a ruinous approach?
Let me be clear, I have done this many times myself as well i.e. buying into a downtrend and/or into companies on a downward spiral of dilution. Therefore, I am no investment guru and make many mistakes. But the one thing that I am trying to do, is to acknowledge the mistake and own it, rather than pretend its not been made, or is part of some kind of overall winning approach, or engage in confirmation basis.
If you don't do that, then you are more likely to keep making the same mistakes, rather than learning from them, and (hopefully) avoiding them in the future and (hopefully) becoming overall better investors/traders? All imo and dyor
