Yes can't buy in small amounts. All the stock below 4.5p has been taken up in recent weeks. What is really encouraging is that this is stirring into life even before, and in the case of the JORC/DFS, well before the major re-rating news is going to land.

However, it does sound like this incoming RNS could well be on par with the above newsflow in terms of its magnitude - as well as a Blue Ribbon offtaker, don't forget it will also then "open up UK Govt support and funding".

What doesn't add up is you appearing at the very moment that shares are being accumulated and in short supply at these levels. How many have you bought already?

The buys continue to land here. Positions ARE being taken ahead of the re-rating newsflow, which we now know is going to arrive much earlier than we thought.

Just looked at the MATD chart - downtrending for over a year now, and not sure i'm convinced there isn't some more downside to come! Petrochina look like they might be messing/bossing MATD around a bit as well. Each RNS just has lots of the same frustrations in it. All upcoming work programmes are risky, as none of them worked first time round, hence the downtrend.

There surely have to be better plays out there than this?

I'm also out of HEX btw but for different reasons all together. But the more it drops, the more upside there is if the results are positive. I can't see it dropping much below 24p, although the MM might give it a shake knowing peeps will be nervous. IF the results are good though, I can see HEX start a move towards 35-40p. It might take a while to get there, and BO probably needs to start dangling some offtake/sales updates.

The reason I took profits nonetheless is that I think there is more upside than the above in other stocks. Sometimes you have to let winners go, in order to catch even better opps.

Good luck with the MATD trade - I suspect it's going to be some time before it gives you any returns though.

I honestly haven't bought back since bailing out earlier this year, and have had no intention of buying back on the basis of what AH says, as opposed to confirmed RNS. I don't intend to buy any as I genuinely do believe a placing is imminent here, and it's my rule not to buy ahead of such risk with AIM shares. You can't always avoid them, but where you do spot the risk, then avoid is my approach.

Hi LB - we will need to see the DFS before we can start talking numbers about a sale value. I agree that it will be a nine figure sum for sure, but I don't think it will as high as 350 myself. We're a junior so will likely be rinsed in any negotiation, so £100 -200 million for me.

We should be on the LSE leaderboard with this 870% rise. That should attract the herd😂

I agree Trek - does look like the stock is bottoming/basing out here, based on the volume coming in. This should make another big move up during H2, as Bitcoin is looking similarly poised as well.

It does look like the 6s are gone, and very shortly the 7s will be gone as well.

HEX is just about to release its flow test results, which if successful has a chance of it making (at least) 30% gains.

Whereas any 30% move in MATD is a while away yet.

Might have been better to wait for HEX results - if you believe - then use those profits to buy lower into MATD and thereby make more gains - if you believe.

I was thinking about the comeuppance that awaits the troll (and certain others). Assuming the legend is true, then a few years ago, the troll had the nightmare experience of seeing this go all the way up to 45p, yet still end up losing a lot of money. It also lost itself, and much else in the process. Never to be the same again. Now the poor thing is having to watch OMI rise once more, and relive the whole nightmare again. It can't hack it, it's torture. That is clear in it's posting. We should pity it really.

On a much smaller scale, the same thing is going to happen to all the other naysayers trying to have digs at LTH.

There will only be one team winning here in the long run - the one that backs OMI, it's projects and BG. All imo and GLA

Just as I thought, the sells are getting ever lower as it looks less likely that this permit is going to arrive before the AGM next week. If these large sells continue, then expect the bid to go into the 5s.

Placings don't arrive out of the blue, and I suspect GEX already have it lined up with the agreed discounted price and things like warrants. Or it might be the Directors who provide the lions share of the cash, but they will reward themselves for sure in my view. Anyway, let's see what happens after the AGM next week. All imo and dyor

The buying has already been more than "decent", but the price move hasn't reflected this.
