A little O.T but GBP have managed to raise at about 20% discount to their traded share price.

They could have just suspended the shares.

Its insider trading if they knew the result of the GM proxy, and then failed to suspend the shares. They had market-sensitive information but didn't disclose it, regardless of whether they acted on it.

Either way. Of it was true, that they couldn't achieve a quorum. They should have immediately reset the date. Utter hogwash.

I'm not sure about that Maestro, the longer we have no news about anything other than corporate affairs - where are the production numbers for SD?... the worse position we are in. Management will then paint it as an all-or-nothing decision, as has been painted on this board already...

Just thinking through the mechanism for this. Can we small holders propose a GM and vote of no confidence? Can we just contact the registar and table a motion, or do we need some hefty holders to do that?!

Given the board will have been told the outcome of the proxy votes before the GM, surely they would now no how votes they were short. This surely should now mean the resolution should be thrown out. You.cannot have a situation where they've effectively lost and want another go...

Fully agree maestro. If there was a genuine logistical issue they should immediately re- announce the vote.

In order for the fca to listen, we need evidence of their activities. I agree, they would take a dim view of anyone trying to play this with anything other than a straight bat.

I suppose the rise here is to free up as many shares as possible before calling a new gm. I urge all you reader types to consider holding and voting at the GM. A no vote would see a multi bag instantaneously imo, like us lth go killed when they announced the delisting.
