Good afternoon CloseShave. I use IG's trading platform charts, the best I have found so far. Only trouble with them is if I have an active trade going the chart will show the profit blue or loss red. some may view those charts as showboating if in profit so quite often I take the snapshot after the trade has closed. however if I have the time I will take snapshots during a trade to illustrate to myself the various progression of a trade. i am still using the classic platform as i have not yet managed to copy and post the charts on the new platform. i think you may be using ig's pro realtime charts which AdJshares uses. I don 't like them and prefer the trading platform charts. ONLY problem with the trading platform charts is one must have flashplayer to operate which keeps crashing which is very frustrating.

Good morning Close Shave. Everyone has their own way of trading and using the basic rules which are. 1 candlestick reversal pattern first AFTER a longish trend, i would say 3 to 4 candles, followed by a close above T line EMA8 entry for a long or below T line for a short. 2. safe to stay in a trend as long as price closes above T line long, short below T line. 3. one caveat to above. If price races too far ahead of T line, consider locking in all or part of your paper profit. If price continues north or south one can always hop back on. Regarding the EMA3 I use it in rule 3. If price closes below ema3 long, above for a short but is still way ahead of the T line I use it as an early warning to crystalise profit. Nothing wrong in taking profit. I usually check the lower time frames to the one I am using to trade to see what price is doing. hope this helps. regarding TESLA you do not say which time frame you are using. This is very important. For instance monthly may be bullish but weekly bearish and more confusingly daily bullish and 5 minute bearish at any particular time. My chart of TESLA illustrating the beauty of rule 2 was a 1 hr chart so I will use that to answer your question. We are now in a slow uptrend retracement albeit presently trading sideways, every swing trader's nightmare if range is small and cannot be traded. Can breakout either way although at moment bias is to upside imo. waiting game. by rights you should already have crystalised your gain and be in a long position. options. do nothing and wait for break. risks. upside break lose some profit, downside break increase profits or close trade and be thankful of the profit and don't feel bad if break is to the downside. never wrong to lock in profit. see my trades on UKOG. iF break to upside feel smug and satisfied that you called it right. We all have our own strategies and ways of dealing with emotions. Stick to your strategy,rules, to take emotions out of decisions i.e. STAY Disciplined. If strategy is working stick to it and don't have regrets if not out at the top or bottom. Hope this helps glita

I agree, beautiful island, steeped in historical sites,friendly people, fabulous weather, superb food and they have the sense to drive on the left side of the road and most speak English, even the older ones. Must be the British influence for when it was a colony, even going back to Richard the Lionheart who got married there.
