RE: CHARTS -T LINE TIPS19 Aug 2017 23:13
Good evening Csw123. I did not directly call you a bozo only generally referred to 'the LTH bozos' whereas you have directly called me a muppet making it personal and in an aggressive tone. Do you recognise the distinction?
In any event, this is a friendly chat board where profane and insulting personal abuse is not used o r tolerated. We are all here to help each other out. No one insults each other, no personal attacks, no belittling of posters questions or views no matter how naive. In simple terms we respect each other.
If we are to continue to converse you are respectfully requested to refrain from personal abuse and snide or disguised remarks and you will see a marked improvement in the tone and manner of my responses to you.
A lot depends on the number of free shares in circulation in the market place i.e. shares not held by the directors and their long term financial backers or institutional investors, the latter don't trade shares. The reason why some AIM shares see excessive price moves, sometimes on low volume, is simply because of the illiquid state of the market. see link below

Unfortunately I do no have any such information on 88e and don't have the time or inclination to do the research. As an alternative, however, I will take the simplistic and less time consuming approach and use IG'S charts of price movement and add volume to see if a visual comparison can throw any light on your question.
below are a series of time charts with candlestick prices and volume with my comment added.
monthly - I have added some brief notes on candlesticks in case you have not read up on them through the links to wikipedia and investopedia posted on the 88e board

weekly - imo its quite clear in February 2016 that despite volume halving from the previous two weeks price still continued to rise. in Aug 2016 price rose to 3.8p on very much reduced volume than feb and march when price reached 4.3p between dec 2016
and june 2017 price rose from 2p to 4.3p on volume mainly under 200 million and fell dramatically to 2p on the bad rns's on 4 and 7 july when mm's gaped price down which led to panic selling swelling volume to 1,000 million.
Since then volume has dropped to under 200,000.

you will see that Friday's volume was extremely low compared with the above as I keep telling brombarb that it is '**** poor'
So in the context of the above volumes 13.5m and 32m combined to make 45.5m possibly would not make too much difference. certainly the 32m didn't.
looking at record of deals between 3.15 and 4.30 pm i can see 2 sells of 1m shares or more and 2 of half a million each in just 1 and a quarter hours alone if they can be
relied upon as accurate making over 3 million, so i would imagine your 13.5 million could be accommodated during the whole 8 and a half trading hours in the day without affecting price too much imo.
