Good morning doze. Sorry to learn your recent trading has not been good. was it a case of trading without stop losses? I do and don't believe in them. Depends on what you are trading. essential for aim or anything one cannot short to stop a loss increasing dependent on spread imo. straddles are good as long as the spread is not prohibative. then wait for big price move and retracement either partial or complete to cash in a net profit. won't be around much longer I fear as the bureaucrats will probably ignore all the protests against their draconian proposals for closing individual trades automatically rather than looking at the big picture. Whetstone Despite the very high risk and caution of my earlier blogg this could be traded using a pump and dump strategy imo. Good afternoon HollowayH Welcome to the board. journals are great for why a trade went great or wrong. avoid what you did wrong repeat what you did great. learning curve. practice makes perfect. live trading emotions VERY different to DEMO Try straddle trading live with £1 a pip to minimise loss. then take third trade in direction of trend. Time all exits for net profit. possibly wrong to set daily total of £400. TOO much pressure to achieve could result in taking wrong trades. PATIENCE and maybe more selective with trades taken wait for trade set ups/strategies that your journals confirm you are good at on the demo avoid the one's where you're no good. hope that helps glita

Good morning all Penny share new year 4 January tips update. WHETSTONE free shares for WRN holders not yet tradeable on NEX exchange notional value 2.5p .initial investment on top of free shares will be £1K. did not materialise on NEX BUT traded on a matched basis on BRITDAQ. so far this share is a 5/6 bagger for those who bought at 5p.
