Good morning all. Forget the link i posted yesterday. had it open in a separate window so i could watch it perform in tandem with actual price on the 1 minute chart. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH Its advice relies on indicators all lagging. switches to strong sell or buy well after price is moving in that direction and will keep the strong advice when price has clearly changed and is going in the opposite direction. However,although the ema 3 , 8 and 54 are lagging indicators they can get one in and out of trades. I have noted that some of you have not had good experiences with forex. it is important to use a proven strategy that you are comfortable with and have it mastered. new angle on 88e taking in to account director's share dealing. back in May 2016 DW purchased 2m shares at 3.75 USX see below. About £50K GBP at today's exchange rate but at 2p gbp onthe day equal to £40k.OK not a massive sum but still a sizable amount, although less than some on the 88e board have invested. However the timing is crucial imo. It was soon after the first spike to 4p when price had started to drop. the gbp equivalent at todays exchange rate is 2.67 but the price would have been less as brexit has devalued the pound. 17-May-16 Buy Trade Notifier Information for 88 Energy Limited (DI) David Wall 3.75 USX 2,000,000 9979166 According to the price chart the gbp opening price on the 17 May was 1.9 rose to 2.05 and closed at 1.999. there are 3 points to be made here. 1 DW considered around 2p was a fair value to pay for 88e shares at that date; 2 More importantly, although price dipped temporarily to 1.55 on the 24 June ( no one can judge the absolute bottom) price subsequently rose to 3.8p on the 26 August 2016 and subseqent to that 4.25p on the 13 June 2017 having previously reached 4.3p on the 17 March 2016. 3 Price rises have a tendency to occur after director purchases or transfers to ISA's. The last two days biggest risers were both preceded by directors' purchases or transfers to an ISA in the not too distant past possible conclusions? Good morning all. non farm payrolls today 13.30 log in half an hour before hand. if doing the straddle don't leave it to the last minute. try and place the long and short at the same price this can be done by placing orders BUT if they have not been triggered by say 1.25 cancel both orders and place your bets as best as you can. the reason for cancelling the orders is that if triggered after 13.30 there could be slippage which would negate the strategy. i will be maximising my bet size as there are only 3 of these opportunities between now and July. however not to the extent of my bt trades. they were crass stupidity which thankfully had a happy ending BUT it could quite easily have gone the other way. the bet size was 12.5 times that which proper/sensible money management dictates. btw nennyb the 2 trades were closed for £18k profit. could have been £31k if i had kept my nerve and followed the T line to the T.
