EUR/USD @ 1.1706 risk reward is 50/80 so although 4 hour has triggered T line it ain't attractive so pass and wait for better entry price

a retrace to 1.1739/42 area would be nice.

it could be worse

check out my eur/usd 2 contracts trade on a £10K DEMO CFD account margin requirement £5944

stop losses 35 and 25 pips stop profit limit 100 pips on $10 a pip stakes in 7 calendar days

made £495 in 1 3/4 hours and cashed in using bird in strand worth 2 in shepherds bush approach

am using this account to get used to the new euroclot's rules and how the 50% automatic closure will work in practice and how the straddle will be affected.

am going to use the account to turn £10k into £1m but will be selective in the potential trades to be posted and included

then write a book and hopefully make another £1m lol

i hope it doesn't join the '95% of traders lose' club lol

btw feel free to change the l and o in clot to u and n

am going to use my DEMO CFD £10,000 account to see if i can turn it into £1m
have broken first rule and taken out 2 $10 contracts shorting eur/usd based on 4 hr chart
should have been 1 contract or at least a straddle margin £ 5944

broken second rule did not wait for T line entry

broke 3rd rule did not check for major news

broke 4th rule don't open a trade @ known reversal times eg 8am, 11am 12am 13.30, 14,30, 15.00 16.30. 19.00

will remain disciplined in future

two 2 orders placed @' 1.17390 and 1.17420 risk stop loss 117455

target 100 pips stop profit

both got triggered while postingboth in profit at the mo £154 in total but just like lloyds this can fluctuate between loss and profit in the early stages

btw 100 pip target is 7 calendar days

will be sticking to the rules in future to avoid the fund joining the 95% retail losers club

will monitor trades using 1 hour chart from time to time but as stops in place don't need to be stuck to the screen

now £500 profit my bread and butter daily target in 1 hour and @ fibonnaci retracement level 62% and stalled back to £400.

in all honesty if it was a live trade would have locked in the £500
because
500 x5 = £2,500 weekly

and £125k yearly all tax free if spread bet but taxable if cfd's luvly jubbly as trotter would say

also a bird in the Strand is worth 2 in Shepherds bush

and the Rothchild's family's secret of vast wealth ' selling too soon'

last but not least

if price is too far ahead of the T line consider locking in profit

risk reward 35/100 pips = 2.85/1 if one jumps in before confirmation red candle after a completed doji and close below RED 3EMA.

Could wait to see if 11750 gets hit in which case risk reward is 45/130 = 2.88/1 not bad odds.

Apropos betting ew or win only

my bog standard level win stake is £10 and £5 ew on odds of 10/1 or over usually

but why reduce bet size on longer odds as I do?

take african queen and sds 100/1

my bet was £1ew got £107 after rule4 i think

BUT what if I had stuck to £10 win

pay off would have been £1,070

that would have given the betting bank a nice boost.

However taking a leaf out of philip's book

bet should have been £5 ew not £1ew

it would be madness not to back ew @ 100/1 that's 3 bites of the cherry in 3 places races @ odds of 24/1 taken 1 off if placed 2nd 3rd only

and up to 6 bites in those specials @ 19/1 taken 1 off if placed 2nd 3rd 4th 5th or 6th only

of course its not every day one gets a 100/1 winner. 1 in 50 years for me, not forgetting Liecester @ 100/1 ew but again only £1ew, a couple @ 40/1 quite a few between 20 and 33/1 but many between 10 and 20/1

i believe knigelk had a 100/1 winner recently

BUT those specials up to 6 places do offer value @ odds of 10/1 or more imo

its like backing an evens favorite to be placed 2nd to sixth @ 10/1 but many odds on or hot fav come last or way down the field

multiples are bookies favs which is why they promote them 'cause majority lose.

i only do them @10p stakes following knigelk's L15 but split them up into separate bets 1 4fold, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 4 singles that way one has the option to cash out each section on its own before any profit evaporates,

harry had 4 winners recently. i've had 4 winners on same day but never grouped in one set of 4

one of these days rodders!

sds no stopped following him for every race using full recovery stakes not level stakes when he went more than 30 rides without a winner - too time consuming and got a bit hairy until the ultimate winner came.

good job i had enough to fund it!.

still monitor him from time to time but not consistently for rides where odds are 10/1 or over for full recovery of losing bets stakes since he started winning on rides with big odds. he didn't back then highest winner was 16/1 (2) and zilch @20/1 or over from memory except the freak 100/1

too many losers at odds under 10/1. these days

I'll never forget my solitary 100/1 winner in 50 years of gambling on the horses with him on board african queen beating that great derby winner golden horn with thanks to good ole Harry as I wasn't going to back him @ york because he always had a stinker there.but something harry said changed my mind

good luck with your laying strategy . i was tempted but with odds on favs after harry won £3k on a lay bet @ bigger odds with inside info but never followed through

ran out of space and here are the eur/usd daily charts for entry/exit have added BROWN EMA54 for the more cautious trader BUT risk/reward ratio much wider best to use 54 for entry and 8 for exit.

Do I assume that all the people making nasty comments about lefty are making money here? Ignore charts at your peril. Lefty said get out at 2.8. I thought it would go to 3.5 and set my sells at 3.25. I had a b/e of 2 and was super relaxed only for the plug to be pulled. I am still holding and will eventually trade the feck out of this. In the meantime I went to UKOG practiced exactly what lefty said very profitably. All the experts on this board have so far achieved is to assist people make decisions that have cost them money. The unloved traders are despised yet if you listened to them money would be made. Comments like “ I am not here to make 1p” are pathetic when 1p on a 1p share would mean a 100% profit. Lastly Lefty I would just say not to bother with the idiots on this board who “own” it yet cost their disciples a fortune.

THEN

ADD only the BLUE T LINE the exponential moving average (EMA) set to 8 and the RED EMA set to 3 to back test the 3 simple rules

1 Safe to stay in an uptrend if price closes above the T line

2 Safe to stay in a downtrend if price closes below the T line ( if unable to short then don't buy, don't top up and don't average down.

3 One caveat to the above. If price is too far ahead of the T line, consider locking in all or part of one's PAPER PROFIT I use the EMA 3 as a guide.

Lefkosia, I`d say you were spot on, a very good analysis indeed. My system would have mirrored it to but you say it much better. I have bought in ready for the longer term view, and this one can and has run along side the ZINC price and that is pretty low around 103,though it made a new 9 day high last week.

I started using the T-Line method Lefkosia and been astounded by the results so far. Most notable have been HWC and CBUY, really interesting method which has changed the way I look at shares now.

Do not dis yourself.

We have all been there.

I still pick losing trades.

Mainly through lack of DISCIPLINE, pulling the trigger too soon ( the T in T line stands for Trigger) and not sticking strictly to the T LINE rules. Like the song' I'm only human after all'.

Soooooo don't blindly follow my trades or suggested POTENTIAL trades.

BTW the TLINE is not infallible either. There will be LOSING trades.My mentor Stephen Bigalow claims 70% success although he refuses to disclose his trading record. see link below.

I can understand his reluctance to disclose, as every trader has their own trading style including the most important other aspects of trading/investing, Money management and attitude to risk.

Too many traders/investors look ONLY @ GAIN whereas I look FIRST @ LOSS and NEXT @ GAIN

If Risk /Reward is not to my liking I pass, usually.

I have posted a reply to your blogg on the 88e bb with my view that the area around 1p has traditionally found strong support. but then again so did 1.8 to 2.2p which got breached. Next stop 0.9p then 0.6 and back to square one 0.25p

. risk reward @ 1p is imo 4;1. not bad odds. Even 3.1 or 2.1 ,

4,3 and 2 baggers respectively.
