AIM, correct I don’t know the BOD other than what I know though official comms, which has so far been factual and accurate.

My opinion, which could be completely wrong, was based on an extension with an indication they a wanted changes to ensure its relevance to GST. Based on going to the wire i see that as an indication the concerns are not addressed. To be clear again I don’t care, and GST is a fantastic investment so having a different opinion on 1 subject associated to GST is fine.

So I have a view and that view is based on my duration of investment?

Everything I have said about GST is positive, I have been in since early this year, accumulated more, and have no interested in selling in 2024, 2025, or likely 2026 unless I am forced to based on a buy out, which I have stated many times as being likely before the value hits where I think it could go, but equally I would do very well from my investment level anyway.

My view is 100% based on my opinion and how I read the RNA previously but could be wrong and ultimately don’t care either way as it does not change my Investment strategy either way.

For final clarity GST is a great investment IMO and I actually believe the snowball has started to roll and the Nasdaq listing for Semet really is a game changer and unexpected surprise so just because I am not convinced the easysend deal is rubber stamped you can see it also does not bother me.

Savvy, thats fine I have both and have both for a reason so I am sure all views are never fair apart. I personally use a SIPP because I like investing and at the time closed off some “standard” pensions that I did not think were appropriate for numerous reasons so needed a vehicle for that level of funds.

Savvy, interested to see why you consider investment over pensions? For SIPP Pension is investment, but from a more tax efficient perspective based on how the money gets into the SIPP. That said I also have some GST in an ISA because if this moved I wanted the ability to be able to realise some of it if needed and not wait.

BFD, I am with you since the last easysend RNS I assumed it would not happen and I don’t see that as an issue. They seemed to suggest it was not going to work for GST, but they gave sometime for someone to prove them wrong but we will see.

If we are making the % we believe from GS20 and that’s gets confirmed and is money going into the bank this will really help underpin the business. With Semet on top and then Angra the mind boggles why we are where we are so wise.

Let’s hope we go into the new year with fresh information and reports that continue to use the word significant and get in to a SP range where we all think it should be.

I keep repeating to myself you make money on shares when you find the companies that are genuinely good and undervalued and with GST I think I hit the jackpot when I found it much earlier in the year so I don’t want to wish my life away but would love to see where we are this time in 2025 and 2026 assuming we done get taken out.

Ok Lloyd, I get the logic now. I personally think the QTY of shares is minimal enough to not create much of an impact either way but it could and seeing them issued around 1.3x is much better than 0.7p so no argument there.

Lloyd, can I ask what makes you think the admission of shares will create a huge SP difference? I am very pro GST and have a lot (for me) and it’s already undervalued IMO so I have zero concerns about the direction of travel, but not 100% sure the admission for Semet will create that move. Either way for me does not matter for me as I believe we should already be higher than 1.3 so a great opportunity and might actually add some more myself today in my SIPP as it’s received its next monthly injection lol.

Of course nothing is proven and GBP don’t have the money to test out the theory oil is there. Technically many better ways of writing that but let’s keep words simple.

Now another large oil company believes that oil could also be there and would like to test the theory by doing something called drilling and giving GBP some money for previous works invested on the license.

Being a low market cap the company will increase in value based on now having money and no doubt a commitment to drill, then the drill bit will decide if the sp rises further or drops.

On any drilling campaign that’s is critical to a company the sp increases.

So short term the potential to make a lot of money on GBP is significant.

I agree forget GGP vs GBP as they are in different life cycles but both from current levels have short term drivers to do well.

Regardless of if they find oil or if you see a photo of Omar, as sure as eggs are eggs, GBP will be worth more in the not too distant future so not sure why you keep assuming investing success depends on oil or gold being present. If both oil and gold are present the investment success would be off the scale but unlikely to get both or even 1 of them statistically but the run up to these will great a huge opportunity.

From the RNS sounds like agreement of heads of terms this year and then the legal formalities next year.

Someone went fishing for shares, to drop by that based on what has been traded, and at what price it’s been traded, is comical.

In resource companies you need to buy at the right time or risk losing as a lot is needed to reach a successful conclusion.

GGP are about to reach a point where they are making a profit on selling gold and have the future in their hands. The point to buy was the 4.8p placing and the time when it was in the low 5p’s this reduced my average and now already in profit by a decent amount at 7p and looking forward to the fun between now and Xmas,

My COPL shares are still showing on ii platform with qty and value still present so not sure they are delisted yet just suspended still, although that is ultimately inevitable so basically who cares what the platform is showing now, it’s all in the capable hands of Mr Cotter

Can’t believe they gave the last RNS with a timeline and I was able to add more at 5.4p took everything I had out of LGEN and whacked it in on the basis of the recent RNS

Comek2, agree I have used the last 6 months to accumulate in GST. Find a company that’s undervalued and buy it.

The great thing here is the recent RNA actually told investors it’s undervalued so when it’s offered to you on a silver plate, take it.

My average is below 1p but get more money in about 5-6 days into my SIPP and if below 1.5p I will be buying more because the opportunity is clear.

Harry, the purchase / selling of COPL shares will still be in your transaction history so even in 10 years you will be able to calculate your holding / cost from that data. The only think that’s happened is your account will show £0 associated to COPL in the summary

Also once the dust has settled and all is concluded maybe we can all use it as a BB to discuss future opportunities to help us all reach the finish line having made some good investments

Like the post below I won’t say what I want other than the answer is everything.

The best way of working value out (my opinion) is that the market cap / shares in issue from the point in time before the deal announcement understand what GGP had (bamps summary). Work out what it will have and what that market cap should be and then divide by the new shares in issue, then factor in GGP are producing and making profit from the date of key hand over and depending the figures you use and multiples you use that gives you a SP.

From these levels no one investing should be disappointed, but historic highs are a way off and need other drivers in my opinion but what a great time to be in GGP, I went in much heavier on the last RNA for long term and and certain I will have zero regrets.
