Why do we mainly start with a green box every day? The first thing I do daily is see if I can see an easy win for a few quid, and not find 1000 shares I can comment on not liking.

Yep sounds like it, i maintain the important part of the Semnet IPO info was what it valued the % owned by GST, regardless of what happens with that aspect. To me if filled a box in my spread sheet on est value of GST.

Depends how you want to value a company on revenue what multiple, what sector, what growth ratio etc.

Also what value you want to put on Semnet, and what value you want to put on future growth / unexpected news.

Too broad a question to answer just on revenue given a lot of the value (semnet, bake, and other aquisitions are not included)

Decide if you want to trade in which case go trade in a share that’s worth trading, GST is not a share for doing daily or weekly trades unless you time it right, but you never have it seems.

Or you want to invest, in which case put some money in the right shares and wait 1–5 years to make more than 10%, for which I believe GST is one of them and will be coming up to 1 year for me now and it’s doing well to date for me, even whilst I increased my position.

Kat, you want GST to be a meme stock? Only benefit of that is for trading.

I want GST to be a YoY growth company, where profit / placings are used for acquisitions, which luckily seems to the company approach as well.

It’s come down from about 0.26-.27 when there was no rig news so in reality with rig news (more to the point what it signifies is next) this should be back in the 0.3+ area and then await the next news.

Hopefully another quick in and out trade pays off and I can then make a decision to drop more in GST if I feel like it.

Well it will happen one day and start to move up like it did when lower SP. I would argue the low was 1.125 and its started the slow walk up (like 0.55-0.725) and then at the point the market decides it will move quicker up to results and beyond

Billy, yes there is correct, but I really don’t chart enough to reference charting techniques so I prefer to say I know nothing on that front

Good strategy, I out about 4k of unexpected profit from an old failed share in here about a week ago.

Never know when next leg up is but going into results it will certainly (likely) move up.

Staircase is just my terminology for when a share is generally in ascent but is likely to stabilise at ranges for a while whilst waiting for news.

I don’t chart really I work on finding shares I think the markets are not valuing correctly based on wider global events or being risk adverse. In this instance as GST could be significant in size my view is the markets in generally are happy to wait for more and more confirmation before jumping in as they can still profit well higher, but at that point I as in originally at over 1p, then more heavy in the 0.6-0.7 range and purchased more at 1.3-1.5 and then some at 1.95 if memory serves me well.

In profit and happy to watch that profit grow. Ask my 9 months ago would we be at only 1.25 with all that’s happened since the sub 1p days I would have laughed.

You just need accept the following: -

Some invest too much

Some worry they have not invested enough

Some invest with limited capital and need that capital quickly

Some trade but get stuck as they times it wrong

Some Invest but do no research other than what they read on LSE or ADVFN

Some just worry that no news is bad

There are many more additions to the above but people in them categories need constant support and / or hand holding by others or the company every day to take their worries away.

I genuinely think the advent of apps / websites for trading accounts is great but equally dangerous for some people.

The reason I know the above is I have made most of them mistakes in the past and sought confirmation I am right from anyone who would listen.

If you don’t like the silence sell, if you think GST is bad sell, if you are trading it go find a decent share to trade as there are hundreds currently of which GST is not one (hint: look at the us market)

If however you think neo banking, crypto, and the security side are going one way and the previous results all show significant progress then get your position and just sit tight with no whinging.

Here is another fact I was bored at 0.5-0.7p and now bored at 1.2-1.3p having spiked to 3.6p.

Wish all my investing was that boring over the course of a year. If all my stocks were so boring with £50k you would be a millionaire in 5 years with that level of return.

They do that every 6 months at results the last 2-3 sets have shown good revenue increases and each forward statement has said they have seen substantial increases already in the next period. Every 6 months is more than enough to provide financial updates.

Don’t think PR from GST management could be better, yes but do I think they should give more indications on revenue and finance performance on a more regular basis, no.

I said my opinion was GST SP will look like a staircase when it’s look at in the future, where it peaks and stabilises on a constant basis but generally in a long term uptrend with lower lows, which incidentally it’s been doing the higher lows since 2021.

2021 low - 0.145

2023 low - 0.325

2024 low - 0.595

2025 low - 1.125 (so far) - which its been moving away from since April

So very roughly each higher low is 100% higher than the last one from 2021 onwards with some lovely peaks inbetween.

Trading GST could work if you get the timing right but seems not a single trader has got that right so the people who make money are LTH who hold and or top slice / buy back lower and increase their holding.

Bake won’t be in the results unless they state anything forward looking due to the accounting period and why GST acquired it.
