The HCT is a Phase III for Moderna. They are developing a vaccine for Bird Flu, which they feel it’s only a matter of time before it is transmitted to humans.

The trial is being conducted with 3000 individuals in London by hVivo and 1000 in the US. I’m not sure whether we are running the test there as well, but I am assuming not.

As you have probably surmised, it’s not a residential study. Every single member of the team that I encountered were highly professional and excellent in their people skills. First session was very lengthy, going through the “due diligence” for each candidate, which included taking bloods, a full medical history and a basic physical examination (height, weight, blood pressure, breathing, heart, glands and stomach).

First dose then administered followed by 30 minutes to ensure no serious reactions. Next dose in 21 days, but we’re doing a daily diary via an app, and there’s a telephone interview after one week.

I’m a LTH in hVIVO, so I was interested in the process of Flu Camp from a first hand perspective, but also because I am invested here. I’m being remunerated for the trial, and whilst it comfortably covers my travel and incidental costs, if I see the process through to the end, I am comfortable in the knowledge that the cash isn’t being thrown around without any checks and balances.

The telephone screening interview was done professionally and comprehensively, and the follow up with instructions has been without fault. I should add, as an aside, that Canary Wharf is well worth a visit without a Flu Camp appointment.

SlowMo appears to be a reincarnation/alter ego of STT and Mr Singh. I blocked those two quite some time ago, so I can’t be sure if they were regular posters on HVO. However, I do recognise similarities in the bizarre, unsubstantiated ravings that will eventually be repeated ad nauseam.

So, Mo, if you have any sense - if you believe your own posts - you should sell HVO immediately and invest in something where you have more knowledge and more confidence in the senior management. I’d be interested in your response before I join others in filtering you.

You’d think that this would be the perfect time to recommence the share buyback programme. Perhaps it’s the absence of this that is causing the downward drift. Results not expected until the end of June, so the wait is going to be torturous without any positive updates

What a pleasant surprise this RNS is. Represents 33% of last year’s total revenue in one contract, and we’re yet to hear the results of the “Amazon Trial”, which I am hoping are imminent.

‘25ye results should be published next week if last year’s timing is repeated. Let’s hope we get a solid update on Amazon and other trials.

Today’s sp increase is really underwhelming - but then this is AIM - so perhaps best viewed as a buying opportunity, if you have any further funds.

Let’s not get too carried away. There’s a lot of selling into this rise: profit-taking most likely. Given the history of overclaiming here, it’s not that surprising that the real rises aren’t going to materialise until the revenue actually starts flowing. JMO

$80 per barrel is the estimated opening price for oil. It’ll only increase if the conflict continues with no sign of end. Straight of Hormuz is getting choked with queues….

Is probably more to do with Trump’s Iran threats than anything else. Probably a bigger spike if he carries out threats of military strikes.

Metal, I hope you’re correct. The RNS wording isn’t entirely clear, since the company only mentions receiving the PO. Then it’s not clear exactly when in 2026 the Phase 2 trial commences. The 12 week timeframe for the trial makes sense; but that puts the completion date sometime at the end of March - at the earliest. At least that’s my interpretation.

Meanwhile @BringMeRiches, there’s been variation in the Trading Updates over the last couple of years. Clearly we’re speculating now, but I wouldn’t expect results expect an update within the next couple of weeks, as the year end (31Dec) has just passed. Hopefully they’re just waiting on another contract to be confirmed.

Phase 1 saw the installation and operation of sensor systems on five of their gearboxes in one distribution hub and proved the capability of the Tan Delta solution to detect and track changes in oil and gearbox condition. Phase 2, will see this expanded to more gearboxes in multiple distribution centres, both in Europe and USA along with some data analytic integration. The first purchase order for Phase 2 was received in this month and the actual trial is expected to commence early in the 2026

Markets like certainty. Until certain, there’s natural pessimism particularly with a share like this. The market will probably only fully re-rate when the further two levels of uncertainty are removed and work actually commences on building the mine and its infrastructure. Just IMO.

Her CV reads really well. I’m hoping that she was attracted to ADF on the basis of a fabulous turnaround opportunity that will make both herself and we shareholders a lot of money. I wish I was buying in now rather than way back at over twice the price, but I’m more confident now that this will prove a good investment.
