Dividendchaser.. It's exactly as you say with Lloyds it's a double whammy. Just sit on your shares buy more if the mood takes you... The price will rise. The progressive dividend policy means as the divided rises so the yield rises. that means pension funds want us again and wait for it the price goes up... There will be bumps in the road but in my opinion the underlying trend is upwards. If you want to stress and day trade go ahead make a few shillings but the beauty of this share is you don't need to do anything. Just drink tea stay calm and enjoy the ride

This is a slow burn share who's price increase will rarely excite and who's falls will rarely instill fear.. It's slow burn and will do nicely in the long term

Hollybean if your not happy don't buy.. Just sell and leave.. I'm confident this is quality long term. If it drops off a bit it's not a problem to me as I'm here long-term for "progressive dividend policy"

well it hit 2p at one stage on ASX now we're at 1.5p that's quite a bit of tree shaking

I bought quite a few more shares in the last couple of days.. Because l believe in the long term income and growth of Lloyd's it may well be as some say here that there may be periods ahead when the price drops for a while but shares go down as well as up. Personally l believe 50p will be achieved without to much effort a couple of mediocre reports and a dividend hike in line with the progressive dividend policy should do it. After that the optimists among us are shouting 60p 70p. I see both prices as achieveable but only with good reports good profits and a good dividend..

Of Course its very cheap and totally under valued but that dosn't mean its going to jump 10 pence in a day,,, these things take time and move slowly with the occasional bust as a result of news , broker reccomendation or invester frenzy

Thats the idea of everyone being given the vaccine to stop or at least hold back a 3rd wave here wheather it will or not remains to be seen

l agree its only a matter of time until we reach 50p but will it be quick or a long slow haul up the side of the mountain..
im ok with either way because im certain we will get there. but many others are even more optimistic with cries of 60p and 70p l see no reason that these figures cannot be achieved in the long term
