Healthy down day. Nothing too earth shattering.
I'd certainly be interested to see if our Turkish friend has been buying and today would be a good day for him to amass more shares to get over 10 or 12%. Fosun has 18 %. Would certainly give the Turks quite some clout at the negotiating table .
Aren't we all.
Speak to your financial adviser
bla bla bla. Mike Ashley isnt involved... this is not Debenhams, neither Interserve. This is Thomas Cook. Many problems but we have our Turkish friend buying 8% maybe even more. That tells you enough. BUY.
If you got in pre 2004, you've done well, doubled your money plus the divi's and until recently, it was a fairly good income share.
Let's see if they can keep the momentum going till year end results. Based on RNS on Thursday... 50p should be achievable by then. Holding for further gains.
Any other bidders? think the board are releasing there results in two days time.
Does anyone use Equiniti share dealers? I wrote on here the other day that following my online sale in debenhams a day before administration of which I received a contact note and uncleared funds, Equiniti have told me that the funds have not been released by the market. A couple of users on here seem to think I have to be patient which of course I will be, but there is a worry I might not receive my funds. Would this be the crest settlement system checking for any possible violations or the administrators appointed to Debenhams? At the end of the day, the contract note I have received from equiniti is legally binding isn't it? Just wondering if anyone is experiencing problems with any share sales the day before the company suspended its shares? the T trade was " days which took us to Wednesday when of course the companies shares were suspended. Thanks in advance
I've spoken to Equiniti this morning and they are saying the market makers haven't released the funds. Speaking to another broker, he seems to think I have nothing to worry about while Equiniti are saying i'm unlikely to get paid as the company went into administration before the settlement date. It could be there checking all those sales for any possible violations so as it's been mentioned, I may have to wait. But at the end of the day, I sold during at a live price. I have a contract note and it should be honored whether the company went into administration the following day or ten days... I will be furious if they try to riddle out of this. Truly shocking predicament to be in.
Thanks very much
Christ almighty.
I sold everything with Equiniti share registers
Hi Poker
Thanks for that. So should I brace myself for no return or like you said... Be patient?
I'm gobsmacked this has happened
If you sold your shares on the Monday so a day before they were suspended, the trade was not due to settle till today. Equiniti have emailed me to check with the Adminstrator if I can have my funds.... Does anyone know what happens in this situation ? Please don't tell me I've lost my money as this can't be right surely Any info would be much appreciated
lol
or simply...shit or bust, or loads of money lol
Good luck. The night could be agonising
