Lol - Shopify just went up 4 times our market cap in one session!

I know we're not finished today, so hopefully we hold the gains, but can anyone explain please - similar trades yesterday and we're down nearly 5%, today up circa 7%

It's pathetic

It’s not a GameStop situation but we do have a small free float, weak II’s are out now (and hopefully there are no II’s loaning their shares), and as we probably have a large portion of the free float in diamond hands (due to PI’s holding high averages) it does mean the shorts will struggle to cover if news breaks fast.

He couldn't stop mentioning health & beauty. You've got to say THG must have had a good weekend, will have a good week, yet we're down, I'm not worried, just renewed by lock in sell for 45 days at 500p. Just frustrating, as always, that this is being played with.

They dropped it 6% to 68p. It was showing on the chart as big drop which shot up again. Now it's as if it didn't happen. Is this normal?

That is the risk. Very few will be successful in their timing and not a risk worth taking IMO, especially when one considers most of these day traders won't be dealing in large amounts anyway.

Really, brokers recommendations should be banned. In effect they’re offering financial advice to people not paying for it. We all know what they’re playing at. Look at the prices they’ve recommended THG!! Idiots

In June the declared shorts above 0.5% threshold was 0.5%. Appreciate there's more out there below the threshold, but I wouldn't say there's a huge amount from the 600 level. Quite a lot bailed during the offer period. They may not all be massively underwater but it will eat into their profit and if they read the room, this ain't going back down, so it's just a case of when not if they close.

They’ve still got a long way to go. It will take them time and it will cost them and guess what, once they’re gone, there will be no need for anyone to artificially bring the sp down.
