Could you explain how proxy monitoring works (as it applies to private investors) in a situation like this.

You appear to be implying, that if we all vote NO early (through the likes of Hargreaves Lansdown), that JCC will somehow be aware of this and possibly increase their bid.

How does this work. Surely HL aren't permitted to release this information as votes come in?

They've talked a good game for years. It's time for some actual, tangible progress now.

You would hope they wouldn't be re-presenting this to parliament so quickly if they didn't envisage it being ratified quite soon.

Not really surprised to see this dropping again. It rises on hints, nudges and declarations of excitement, and falls away again when nothing concrete is forthcoming.

It's been the ultimate "jam tomorrow" share for years now. Hopefully tomorrow won't be too long in arriving this time. Surely these elusive contracts must be handed out soon.
