I have been reading about the LSE in general and the destruction of Company valuations is rife across the board. It isn’t just Sareum. Larger firms are de-listing and re-listing elsewhere. TUI to Frankfurt etc due to low valuations. Direct Line has rejected a low ball offer as have other Companies. Private Equity firms trying it on. The analysis was done by….PH..well they would know wouldn’t they. More defections will follow. Even GGP.
The insider dealing and general disdain for genuine shareholders is driving investors and Companies away from LSE. I fear that hedge funds and shorters are killing the goose that lays the golden egg. We can’t all be wrong
Unless they have inside information of course. Same applies to the Easter break - I suspect there has been a concerted push to get the sp down further ahead of buying back and closing out.
That being said I am not expecting much by way of information tomorrow, just a regurgitation of the facts from the last RNS but with more specifics. I sincerely hope I am wrong and we get an absolute stonker- not holding my breath though as, personally, I would release good news next week.
The altruism on this board from all of those concerned for the rest of our financial wellbeing is humbling. BullorBears has opened an account just to warn us all of the pitfalls and to tell us 5 times that he/she isn’t buying and the rest of us must be crazy.I am beside myself with gratitude. Unfortunately I have compulsive share purchase disorder (CSPD) and can’t help myself.
Disingenuous again RHOA/Puma/CoL/Whitesuitguy and your usual arrogance is on display.
You are overlooking the fact that we LTH’s here were buying this share by the millions when Sareum was last down at these levels. Same narrative and the sp went to 9p making a lot of people a lot of money. Where were you then? We also sliced very healthy amounts of money out at that level and, in my case, I continued to hold 9m shares which got consolidated etc: I have been adding since £2 was hit.
So all is good in the world of the LTH thank you. Once you have closed your short position and long gone I am optimistic that the sp will climb but in a more sustainable way and on the back of solid news. Quite happy adding here and some on here are clicking on to the fact that just under 30p is 100% profit. If it goes lower - fine. More shares and a lower 100% profit threshold. Are you getting it yet?
That would be great if it came just as the new ISA allowances come in. The current modus operandi of you shorters is to prevent or convince the rest of us not to buy. Fat chance of that I’m afraid.
No spin Surfie, just cheap shares on offer. I do not give financial advice and neither should you. I don't believe you hold any shares for the record. My purchases are all individually laid out on a spreadsheet so that I know when I profit on a particular transaction. As with shorters here, making money is the objective. For the record though seeing as you are keen to quote negative percentages. Where do you see the sp in 4 months time? Genuine question.
Oh Dear - Surfie has a new recruit. Surfie, I will say this once more. I have been topping up. Entirely up to you whether you believe it of course. Thats end of topic for me. Time to tell whoever you lackey for that the tide is about to turn.
Agree Warty - I actually believe our biggest are consists of honest, decent people who haven’t suddenly turned rogue and are out to deliberately screw us all.
Misleading shareholders and the general market would not be in their interests as directors at all. They are personally liable. I think their problem is that they are too honest and blunt.
Best of luck Rayboy - my family are buying and I feel morally obliged to cover their positions. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that for either of us.
As I have said previously, I think we will only lose from here if Sareum goes bust. I don’t think that is likely. Gulp!
I think we have all done that Rayboy. Your son would have got 1680 shares at that price so is obviously underwater. The same 1680 shares would cost far less and could make 100% from this level. I am not advising that course of action especially if funds are not available. I am not qualified to give investment advice so I just work with figures and plain old arithmetic.
I sincerely hope this comes good for him and he at least gets his money back.
....Also news this week, good or bad it will hopefully draw a line under this poor run. We have a 4 day trading week this week and a 4 day trading week next week and the introduction of the new ISA allowances from 6th April.
Data to come from 1801 and maybe an update from 737. Not out of the choppy waters at the minute but weather forecast is for calmer seas!
How can anyone add to see it fall? - This is potentially a big opportunity for all shareholders. For those unfortunate to buy very high I suspect there is only a limited number of shares that they could purchase at that time. They could probably get the same number of shares for peanuts here. Going bust would be the only way to lose money - your call.
Alan. That isn't quite right is it. Tim and John deferred salary a few years ago and took shares in lieu. The BoD also bought shares and have options. They are suffering as much as anyone financially and professionally.
I appreciate that you may not wish to add but you have an opportunity here of averaging down considerably at this very low level as does anyone else.
I would sincerely hope that our BoD are locked in talks both scientifically and financially as opposed to sitting behind a desk wondering how they can appease shareholders - which lets face it - will have absolutely no impact on the sp.
Tough times for sure especially with the uncertainty, but we are where we are. I do agree though that the entire situation is one of Sareums making. Opportunity or threat? Only individuals can decide for themselves.
There is plenty of FUD here that coincides with the larger sells - I suspect it is all a PH/RF offensive on the sp. It is quite obvious and not very subtle.
Never mind, if it is keeping somebody in a job then there is some benefit to it
