So Bernie confirms that they have already been updating their feasibility study - all of us would have expected that during the delay. Has ongoing work in China? Not sure what that is. Could be an offtake? He is confident that the initial 21million tonnes will be increased, but will not be drawn on the amount. He will also not be drawn on any estimated figures.
They are going to use standard proven open pit systems so expect no problems there and sound as if they are going to crush and use washers, maybe like the dense medium type washers used in the uk - all long since proven and used for decades.

I reckon a second RNS with updated feasibility will be here soon, I think it will just need the updated average lithium prices and a few other bits inserting. They must have been working on it already. Then approved by the board. Write an appropriate RNS, sign that off and we will see it
As a minimum I am expecting an updated asset value of around 500m dollars. With spod 5 added to the mix it could be anything.
Just on spod 6 the updated turnover should be well over 2bn, with the addition of spod 5 it will be interesting to see their estimate.
Cannot wait for that update.
One of the mining journalists will pick up on this and maybe give their estimate.

Actually in an update to my post below a simpler version of the RNS I have just read.
They are updating the tonnage and prices before the funding. I reckon most of that will be completed already.
So the asset value before was estimated at 300m dollars.
Anyone like to make any guesses (just for fun) what the new asset value may be? With and without spod 5.

Bernie will be spoilt for choice.
Remember the last one they had a massive battle over was 45,000 tonnes per year, we are 220,000 tonnes per year, but we did not include any lower grade spod 5.
Spod 5 is now worth almost double the price Bernie factored for spod 6. I do not know what will come first, a funding/JV RNS. Or an updated estimate of what we have to sell
Most people are still working on the low figures.

The prices above are 15 minutes behind and there is an 8% spread, but we are still almost 25% up.

The government licence is a very serious licence, they will not just stamp and out the door.

My driving licence form was submitted before the minister got this to sign off. My licence is simple.
Their licence involves Mali revenue, potential water table issues, streams rivers, roads, ports putting the land back how it was or improved, company checks, key person checks, the list goes on...

Also Birmingham urban, it is the same, more canals than Venice apparently, you soon know why if you live there, rain comes from nowhere, they are needed for drainage.

Cannot be far away if they have not already started. However, regionally they can vary, some areas have their own microclimate. It is not one season for the whole country.
