It is a good idea to look at earlier lithium mines, bald hill is one good example that Steve set up and the issues they had with offtakes and fluctuating lithium prices, Bald Hill shut at one point due to their offtake.

Lithium when it had that crazy high price was a very different situation to today. Suay Chin last year must have been counting their chickens, this year for a company like them it is a potential liability. Remember Suay Chin bottled buying Bougouni before us due to cost.

Ganfeng and Hainan that offtake is peanuts to them and they are in the processing game, Hainan steel at present but soon in their soon to completed lithium plant.

I can't remember who posted it, probably Accion or Daz, but unless you read the JV contract in detail and have a legal adviser confirm your accurate interpretation none of us know if either have controlling power of the project. Since Kodal held all of the aces in the sealed bidding and looking at Bernard's history with Resolute, I would bet a lot of money on Hainan not having controlling powers.

However you can just tell this is all heading for us being bought out, we may retain 2-5%, we will see.

I reckon any time after the licence transfers the offers may start from Hainan.

PLCs are where takeovers, controlling interest etc means you can take the rest, dictate rules etc not limited business.

Kodal has a JV agreement with Hainan that forms the basis of their agreement.

For about the fifteenth hundredth time, KMUK is limited not a PLC, therefore the JV agreement dictates the limited company arrangement.

Kodal Minerals is a PLC of which Hainan owns a small percentage, it is in a PLC where percentages mean power not in limited companies.
