The focus of the Company’s personalised dosing initiatives going forwards will be to expand the capability of the software to support dosing decision making around not only chemotherapeutic agents but GCSF. Both the ongoing PREDICT-ONC study and potential secondary research with DoseMe clients in the US will support this objective. In parallel, the Company is seeking ways to make the blood sampling required by its software more convenient for patients. This can potentially be achieved by using the software in other settings where frequent blood sampling already occurs, but also through exploration of the use of new diagnostic devices that can obtain and analyse blood samples in community or home settings (such at that being developed by our partner company Beyond Blood Diagnostics).

As the Company continues to develop its personalised dosing software, it will actively consider the most appropriate way to ring fence resources for this part of its business. Options under consideration include creation of a dedicated business unit, creation of a wholly owned subsidiary or a joint venture with a party with complementary technology/ capabilities. As further progress is made towards one of these, further updates will be provided accordingly.

As you well know a company like DEST is completely different as it's a drug DEVELOPER that has been burning £5-10mln per annum and needs £25mln and has gone from 150p to 3p in 12mths

Accordingly, the Directors unanimously recommend that you vote in favour of the Resolutions as they intend to do in respect of their own shareholdings of 9,475,605 Ordinary Shares (representing approximately 9.89 per cent. of the Existing Ordinary Shares).

As at today's date, the Company has received irrevocable undertakings from certain Shareholders representing approximately 18.77 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital to vote in favour of the Resolutions, including 9.89 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital held by directors and their connected parties. The Company has received letters of intent from certain Shareholders representing a further approximately 7.20 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital to vote in favour of the Resolutions.

Therefore, the Company has received irrevocable undertakings and letters of intent totalling in aggregate 25.97 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital to vote in favour of the Resolutions.

The Board has explored the possibility of securing the quantum of funding (c. £25 million) it needs to execute on the Phase 3 clinical trial programme from a very wide range of sources, including existing Shareholders and public market investors, venture capital firms, specialist healthcare funds as well as from non-dilutive sources, as it believes that by successfully completing the Phase 3 programme itself, it will significantly increase the likelihood of securing a meaningful licencing deal in the future.
