I've looked at OBD with fresh set of eyes, and every AIM company has suffered this last 18mths with liquidity and investor sentiment

OBD is no different

But £9mln market value after a fall from 15p to 3p seems overdone

As someone said yesterday, the part where it talks about DoseMeRx and the software tool is very pleasing

It sounds all systems ago regarding integration in the clinical setting

And for bio stats some very good early feedback from new and existing clients

Yes..even with low sales they have cash for 12mths given the historic overheads as mentioned in the half year

So talk over summer that the drop from 10p was a portent for cash raise is nonsense e

It's clear that investors are un enthused by the sales so far but the mgkt options at 9p might be cause for more positivity + the recent conference in America + grow9ng UK emphasis on funding cancer technology

Strange that some here over the last 3mths have talked about cash and yet the accounts have been prepared for period to Sept 2025 and have indicated they have enough cash albeit it will also depend on sales of their tests and partnerships with companies

Yes, I was fortunate as I'd been reading about prostate blood tests as I'm already an owner of shares in PYC which is developing a prostate /cancer test with BeyondBlood

I had read about OBD test and while some felt £900 was expensive I was intrigued by the BUPA backing and the USA potential

I can't see any reason for the drop from 15p as there has been no TR1 sellers ..in fact just 2 buyers ( one in summer and one yesterday)

Dr Kashyap Patel, Oncologist and CEO at Carolina Blood and Cancer Care Associates, said "Episwitch CiRT is the unique blood-based test that enables oncologists to identify patients with advanced cancer likely to respond to Immunotherapy. This is truly an unmet need and will likely improve outcomes, reduce toxicities and with prospective HEOR studies will establish cost improvements too.

OBD has recently applied for a New York Department of Health Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP) New York State (NYS) CLIA license and, working with its partner lab NeXT Molecular Analytics, has submitted EpiSwitch® CiRT for NYS DOH CLEP approval. NYS CLEP requires that both the lab and the assay performed meet the high standards expected for the care and management of medically vulnerable populations

BUPA

In October 2023, the Company announced an agreement with the UK's leading health insurer, Bupa UK, to give Bupa patients who are being considered for or already on ICI therapy access to EpiSwitch CiRT. This was the first direct agreement with a private medical insurer for the reimbursement of CiRT and the first agreement with a major customer outside of the US. As well as agreeing to reimburse EpiSwitch CiRT, the partnership represents the first time that Bupa will be actively marketing a genomic test to their network of healthcare providers. Bupa is advocating for CiRT's adoption by facilitating a series of roadshows by the Company in some of the UK's largest private cancer care clinics throughout the first half of 2024.

Gaining reimbursement from the UK's leading health insurer was a milestone for the Company and the Company is targeting similar agreements with other insurers and healthcare networks, in all its markets, during 2024.

Surely with BUPA etc.on board + 94% accuracy then sales will increase.in 2024/25

What are the tests? 

OBD’s EpiSwitch PSE test is a blood test that boosts the predictive accuracy of a standard PSA test from 55% to 94% when testing for the presence or absence of prostate cancer, which was launched in the UK and US in September 2023 (see www.94percent.com). The PSE test is the culmination of nearly ten years of collaborative work between OBD, Imperial College London, the University of East Anglia, Imperial College NHS Trust, and leading UK prostate cancer experts, as part of the PROSTAGRAM screening pilot. As well as a high 94% accuracy, PSE offers high specificity, 97% (standard PSA alone: 53%), and high sensitivity, 86% (PSA: 64%), as well as high positive, 93% (PSA: 25%1), and high negative, 95% (PSA: 86%1) predictive values to assess the risk of prostate cancer in men, published in the peer-reviewed publicatio
