That sounds like redundancies. If there is a restatewment of costs or earnings, part of the cost package would be write-offs/downs. I'd expect the company to pack that into a one-off that will make subsequent earnings etc look good. I think the current share price very likely overstates the case by 20-50p, though uncertainty possibly justifies a discount.

Technically, the share price / chart is substantially beaten down and may need some consolidation around the current level ± 2p before resuming a clear up trend. Encouragingly, there are more AT buyers so far today, which hasn't been the case in recent days.

But don't let the facts get in the way of a good tale

Reasons:

Chairman in to turn it around

Product in demand

Not many doing it

Customers supportive

Big holders still in

Rampers out

Still trading

Interims was a warts and all, get it all out there and wipe the slate clean for the new Chairman. Unlike other AIM basket cases that produce nothing, SCE have a product that's highly rated and it's selling. Customers want it and need it which is why they're supportive. SCE have a very good case to 'be saved'!

Of course it's a risk, that's why it's 0.26p! But it's darkest before the dawn and at 0.26p it's worth the risk.
