Chancellor Rachel Reeves' attempt to intervene in a landmark court case over controversial car loans has been blocked by the UK's highest court.

The Supreme Court case set for in April will rule on whether lenders should have clearly told to customers how much commission they were making from selling car loans.

The Court of Appeal ruled last year lenders should have been clearer, but the lenders are appealing this ruling in April's case.

The Treasury attempted to intervene last month due to concerns April's ruling would reduce the availability of car loans. The Treasury told the BBC it respected Monday's decision to block its intervention.

1 all AIM placings last 12mths have been, sadly somewhere between 50% and 20% discounted, that's the state of the markets , not sure if you knew that as you only post on PYC, as for Trout I don't recall any post about premium placing?

2 you say Clarets is a good egg.., not sure if he is good (or bad) as very rarely posted and they were just one liners, but sad to lose any investor I agree

3 how do we know Ant15 was the founder ?..he arrived mid last year claiming to be and saying mgmt didn't respond to him but we have nk evidence..his last post were October 2024 so not sure what valued insight he offered and his other shares TERN and CLON are heavily down so not sure his business accumen is to be lauded?

4 as for WRAP, as a holder you have the opportunity should you wish?
