Re your point 2) I read with excitement in my local Hamburg city newspaper that the public bus company have bought 12 new all-electric busses. The original article was, naturally, in German, so I waded through it expecting to proudly see ITM HRS mentioned, but my jaw dropped when I saw the busses were rechargeable battery powered, and not H2. I found a similar article in English link below. Maybe you have a point Harry? The subsequent comments following the German article did raise the issue of only a short range (min 150 km), i.e. one shift's worth of charge before a lengthy recharge was needed compared with a diesel's three shifts with one fill-up. Of course I added my two-penn'eth to the comments re 'why not H2?' There are/were two fuel cell buses 'steaming' around the city that I had a ride on, but it could be that the city fathers have chosen the battery version instead for some reason.
