Just a thought: There are a set of 5 wind turbines opposite where I live. For some reason they are frequently turned off, even though there is plenty of wind up there. At the moment I think the turbines supply electricity only - wouldn't it be much better if they were also used to make hydrogen that can be stored!? C'on ITM Cooley, get out there and sell the product!

With such a sudden rise in sp, wouldn't the company issue a statement if they 'saw no reason for the rise', but they haven't made this statement. Might this suggest there is something in the air?

I read in my local Hamburg newspaper, 03/5/2019, (Norddeutsche Laender setzen auf Wasserstoff) that all the five North German states have chosen to go for hydrogen production using electrolysers for the green economy, so the concept is catching on.

It could be a good idea if ITM joined up with REDT to take off their stored energy at a steady, predictable rate.

It is not unknown for a basically sound company's sp to go down and down through various kinds of misfortunes, e.g. currently Inmarsat, only to see a rescue takeover offer come when the blood is flowing on the streets. I am a PI. It is just my feeling. gla.

If I may add in my two-penn'orth to the present discussion, I came across the below linked article(s) this evening - see the first link going direct to RedT from the other feed-in links.

I've been in and out of Red for years since it came to AIM, in general losing dough as the sp gradually declined. I could be wrong in my opinion - usually am (!) but I have given a bit of thought to the company as it stands at the moment. Assuming that their flow product is actually viable and working, I see this company as one of those typical brilliant British R&D companies with great ideas but struggling to go forward due to the dreadful lack of support for 'non'doctorate PhD' controlled small tech businesses. Redt has stuck at it over the years, setting up small test R&D units in various locations around the UK, and has now simply run out of cash as it is ready to move into large scale production. Not an unusual situation. My feeling is that one way or another this viable product business will get rescued, but at what cost, who knows? I am sure Scott has one hell of a lot of IP knowledge under his belt, which he will not give up lightly, I will buy a few shares as a punt in the hopes of recouping my earlier losses. GLA.

Reading further into the linked article (today, 15/02/2019, 0900) I see that despite the Hamburg decision, lots of other bus companies have opted for fuel cell busses - I am reassured now!

Re your point 2) I read with excitement in my local Hamburg city newspaper that the public bus company have bought 12 new all-electric busses. The original article was, naturally, in German, so I waded through it expecting to proudly see ITM HRS mentioned, but my jaw dropped when I saw the busses were rechargeable battery powered, and not H2. I found a similar article in English link below. Maybe you have a point Harry? The subsequent comments following the German article did raise the issue of only a short range (min 150 km), i.e. one shift's worth of charge before a lengthy recharge was needed compared with a diesel's three shifts with one fill-up. Of course I added my two-penn'eth to the comments re 'why not H2?' There are/were two fuel cell buses 'steaming' around the city that I had a ride on, but it could be that the city fathers have chosen the battery version instead for some reason.
