Bodes well for H2 - H2 powered trains:

Interesting comments!
I have the greatest sympathy for my dyslexic students, and they praise me for my extra efforts to help the via the BDA guidance.
There is no excuse for native speakers writing in poor English, except as you mention dyslexics. Other European countries don't do it - mine prides itself on good (own ) language use.
Maybe this is a wakeup call to DW to pay more attention to his English and not to germanise it and confuse . I did give him a great translation site (deepl) that's quick and good.
On the other hand, I agree his challenging comments bring useful information to this bb, whereas previously posters were strongly dissuaded from any form of criticism.
I'm not in the UK so I don't get to see a lot of things you do in the media, but anything of use I do post.
Hope your portfolio survives today!

Many thanks for the info. The reason for my question was that I currently ride on a brand new (Mercedes-Citaro (you can smell the newness) ebus in Hamburg. It is purely battery powered so I did not want to stir up anyone's displeasure - but the ride itself is really nice. Out of curiosity, I sat behind the driver to watch the instrumentation at work - there were two dials - one speedo, the other what looked like a discharge - regenerative braking dial with a centre-zero needle that moved right or left according to driving or braking. When free-wheeling the needle was in the centre. There was also a small dial that looked like the battery charge status. Here is a link to the ebus. There is a good technical sketch of the various bus parts which may be of interest to someone here.

Because the Solaris has a three-mode power unit - battery pure- FC to battery or plug-in, it looks to cover all eventualities. Let's hope AFC come up with something to fit such a drive unit.
thanks expat!
Morning all. Any idea how long it will be before the next approval date application date is? Did I read something about April? Thank you.

Sorry to take so long - had to look back to an earlier poster who gave the link.
site clearance start date is part of the planning officer's report -

The comment about site clearance time is at the bottom of the report.
Hi Dodger,
I noticed in the planning group report that they can't begin building before September, then it will take another 9 months to complete the work, so this is not going to start producing until 18 months - two years, providing all goes well with the council's approval. One thing I need clarification on is that I thought PHE had a working unit somewhere? Can anyone tell me about this please? Thanks, larryh
Re second RNS today - Yes, I am sure the board is delighted to get the shares at 8p - wouldn't we too - swindlers.
This is another PHC big con trick!!!!! From the big sells last Friday it is clear someone knew something about this fund raise coming. This happens every year with PHE - there is always something lurking in the background to decimate the sp and we poor loyal pi's get it in the neck when it is revealed. This not moaning - this is highlighting a dirty tricks situation. The last progress update gave every indication of great success and massive world wide sales in the offing. Absolute to""er management from which I expected much better behaviour.
The time of the rise (1430 ish) could suggest American buying interest as PHC has big plans there.
APF does have a history of being battered down from time to time, and now is one of them, so it is a good idea to top up/buy-in now while you can at these low prices. Clearly the virus thing could be the reason this time, and that is a pretty serious unknown right now.all imo.
Well, if people want to keep their old Otto engined cars on the road (me and my MGB), then they will have to use biofuel eventually... = the Altalto plant/Velocys products, not just for aero engines (I think?)
How right you are! Someone (anyone) has got to get rid of Johnson and his wild ideas. He is an absolute menace and is destroying many people's lives with all his idiotic, unachievable outbursts , and the tragedy is, a lot of people are so gullible they believe him. Filling up with H2 is a far better way forward, in town or out of town, unless of course, all the water vapour produced turns to rain :)
