Quite possible that the relatively low volume ofsales and subsequent effect on the SP is down to one person. How does LSE allow this to happen? Wonder what would happen if your average punter tried to push it the other way?

But Steven is right to be wary of Jennings/Align. I gave their blogs on IRON and KZG far too much credence a few years back, not to mention the 0.3p placing debacle which accelerated the IRON SP slide. Hence current big paper loss for me. I thought ME was on the right track to recovery, but the last few months of silence indicates that things have not gone to plan. Watching and waiting. Potential is still there.

In the light of the SP freefall and unexplained trades, it would be resonable for the company to issue some sort of statement to explain what the eff is going on. Not inspiring much confidence in PIs, that's for sure.

So sad to hear this. He had his detractors on this forum, but they were always less informed, less dignified and less articulate. Such a shame that he didn't see the share recover as he truly believed it would. Hopefully others will take up the flag.

BMN’s increasingly fequent appearances on the lse.co.uk ‘Winners and Losers’ leader boards will no doubt attract the trading sharks sensing traces of blood in the water.

Institutional looks at fundamentals. Retail looks at news and the house mortgage.

Numbers always more reliable than opinions. Might be an idea to hold on to this in-depth analysis and see how it stands up come springtime. This is a long game folks.

For anybody who has been paying the least bit of attention over the last few weeks there are no surprises here. The delay in SPR funding will inevitably affect forecasted supplier payments, and it would be disingenuous to give production guidance until the cash is in the bank (end of the month we are assured). Calm down.

You just knew that this update would come after trading hours. I had my top up stood by but resisted. SP is going to tank on Monday, so Black Monday sale prices for everybody. Not BMN at fault but very Africa. Similar thing happened with IRON a couple of years back.

Seems like a massive overreaction all around. That said, I am surprised that Mr Coltman authorised an RNS that had the potential to crash the SP, and has done so. Seems rather clumsy for somebody of his experience, even if the company had to follow up on the sabre rattling in previous announcements. Was the Armageddon deadline really necessary?

SP now at closing price from yesterday; more buys than sells; but showing 8% down.

SP was 2.25 at close of play yesterday, then it popped up as 2.45 this morning, and now shows a 14% drop (on fairly even buys/sells) to 2.10 as at time of writing. Go figure.

Well researched boll.ocks is invariably preferable to off the cuff boll.ocks, the latter being the primary ouput of most bulletin boards.

I do feel like that myself sometimes CleverThoughts, but was your statement actually a clever thought? Could you expand?
