Already revenue producing... http://www.vitaminplanet.co.uk/optibiotic-probiotic-fos-p-177955.aspx that is a small angle of their tech imo ... Lets wait and see
7.7% of the enlarged share capitol .. the bod helped raise funds... 54% not in free float after consolidation and placing.
90% of trades today and for the last week have been buys
Upside - confident wide claim would be good if you could back it up?!
The Placing Peterhouse Corporate Finance Limited, the Company's broker, has conditionally raised £3.3 million (before expenses) for the Company through the placing of 41,250,000 New Ordinary Shares at 8 pence conditional on the Resolutions being approved by Shareholders at the General Meeting and Admission. The net proceeds of the Placing are estimated at £2.8 million and will be used to develop the intellectual property of OptiBiotix, to commercialise OptiBiotix products and for general working capital purposes. Once the Placing Shares are admitted to trading on AIM, the Placees will, in aggregate, hold approximately 57.5 per cent. of the Enlarged Ordinary Share Capital. The deal is in consideration of 25 million of the 71 million shares that on its own is worth 30% of the company ... and also management own a good chunk.. where did you get your 7.7% from?
Yes mate i agree... there has been some heavy buying over the last week and the mm's have been masking the spread so possible some forward selling by the placee's ... It's where they decide to take the product that is impotant to us... Imagine if they are lining up a deal with Cadburys or alike for a sugar free chocolate that tastes the same... I doubt this is the case but if they can score a deal with a big food manufacturer then game on imo ... 8p gives us Mcap of 7.7 million .. if we can bag a good deal we should see a heavy lift in SP and i wouldn't be surprised to see something done sooner rather then later.
Just been reading TW's write up on shareprophits... ""In summary the company says: OptiBiotix was formed in March 2012 to develop compounds which modify the human microbiome - the collective genome of the microbes in the body - to prevent and manage human disease. The aim of OptiBiotix is to discover and develop microbial strains, compounds and formulations, which modulate the human microbiome and can be used as food ingredients, and supplements or active compounds for the prevention and management of human metabolic diseases, examples of which include obesity, cholesterol and lipid distribution and diabetes. OptiBiotix has established a pipeline of microbiome modulators that can impact on lipid and cholesterol management, energy harvest and appetite suppression. The development pipeline is fuelled by its proprietary OptiScreen® and OptiBiotic® platform technologies designed to identify metabolic pathways and compounds that impact on human physiology and bring potential health benefits. These platforms are applicable across a wider range of other human diseases. I really do not pretend to understand the science in the slightest but know that fat and fat related diseases are an issue for lots of folk including me ( I am diabetic as a result of eating and drinking too much or many years). I rate the new management and rate Reynolds and reckon that an EV of £2.7 million was really not very demanding at all. That is clearly why we piled in. What is the stock worth? I haven’t a Scooby. "" Love it, what is the share worth... I haven't got a scooby... well that has to be the no.1 tip of the year Buy DUC because i don't know what their worth... Well I personally think it is a safe bet to think that they are worth more when they can land a deal and i really hope this is the route that these guys are going to take this... as we will see a nice rise in SP and i also wouldn't be surprised if something was already in the pipeline. Lets wait and see... i'm happy to wait i can't see this getting any cheaper.
Long to wait guys... Lets see what is in store once the news flow starts ... i got a feeling.
thats rubbish mate 54% of the company held very tightly... There is more to this then meets the eye.. i've been invested here for months after various talks with the COE and would not be surprised to see them land a huge deal straight after the RTO... Nick is also on the board of a very successful listed pharma company. DYOR
Waiting for a long time for this week. Let's hope they have a trick up their sleeve I'm sure they do!
ShadowZ you make the most ridiculous comments on a number of bb's about things you pretend to know about... you really dont have a scooby, nout wrong with that but when you claim too you make yourself look like a pleb.
""With the cap so low they would probably be able to get us cheap, even with a management fight. Perhaps 20-25p. First Oil expo bought 2.1mmbbls for Causeway and Cormorant East (Plus Anril debt and litigation) for $53m recently. The rest of the assets here now are debt free. So cheap would be $100m or about 30p per share. IAE could also afford to drill 25% of Skellig if they wanted or sell it off to one of the large companies that moved into AM recently. Our tax losses associated with Fyne (all that appraisal drilling at 75% wi over the years) would pretty much pay for the acqusition from IAE's production (tax saved). Similar for ENQ. But I think IAE would be a more likely suitor as they go for small fields for acquisition (cook etc, they also developed Jacky and Athena) so a partnership with ABTOG could be very beneficial to both long term. If AEY make it through to first production on Fyne without being taken out then upside is far beyond this price.""
If thats how you evaluate your companies by guessing then best of luck to you, you'll need it!
After a decent debate on this without Rigger Trolling round like a pleb... ADVFN has some good chat going down, some longer termers over there a little bit more knowledgeable of the status here....
Rugby these drills from PFS to production typically take years.. I think the estimated date was November 2016.. drilling in the block commences H1 2015 ... The potential here is huge. I personally think they will sell the % once it is found.
global - bit desperate ey?
Rigger you really are an ignorant .....
If it can stay here while the RSI gets back to 50 it would be a good point for another rise... later in the week or next. The charts will remain bullish on this one for as long as it stays above cash ... which ... judging the news yesterday shouldn't be too hard.
TBH mate I don't like predicting SP's ... these guys need to regain faith of the longer termers before it really re rates but I certainly don't expect it to stay around these levels for too long... We have a free carry up until drill so do not have to do any of the PFS which is paid for as part of our deal when we sold 75% of the licence...Http://www.digitallook.com/news/rns/21501929-52722/AEY-Antrim_Updates_Fyne_Field_Development_html
"The loading system will be designed to transfer the 100,000 barrels of oil in 24 hours(4,200 bbls/hour). Peak oil production rates could reach approximately 14,000 bbls/day resulting in a period of seven days between transfers. As production at the Fyne Field declines the interval between transfers will increase in time (Table 4.11)."
