Imho it's both Brexit and US (China/globally) that we need to be concerned abt.

There will undoubtedly be volatility but it's whether there is a *sustained drop* that one needs to be concerned abt and that's what concerns me re US moreso than Brexit which is why Ive been biased towards cash gradually and holding only those that Ive so far got a good entry on.

Markets here tumbled in Dec and that was when SPX hit 2300s. If it goes below 2000 which is what Im expecting (time period unknown), then I can only imagine it having a ripple effect over here and far worse than in Dec.

BUT that is simply my opinion and it wldnt mean for you/anyone to sell.. Just that Cash might be King in the coming period though there will always be shares that will outperform in spite of global turmoil/economic woes.

Will post some charts here soon posted on Twitter earlier but all showing either a parallel channel or ascending Wedge (bearish)....

GbpUsd chart may be required to get better perspective but there will def'y be volatility and wldnt surprise if we fall at least for the ST....

So far Samsung and Apple stating the're downgrading future expectations...and they're supposed to be 2x $1 Trillion companies. Well, Apple aint anymore and Amazon wont be going on chart from yday...plus dont think Bezos's divorce is gonna help!) :)

If you were in charge and had screwed things up big time, like huge......and you were not exactly Mr Ethical, Mr Integrity, Mr Humble, what would you do??

You'd try to cover the cracks in any which way you could, bully others (Powell) into what you wanted in order to hold off what was coming and try to detract the direness of the situation by bigging up other issues as a side distraction (Trade War) which ironically has contributed to the main situation (flagging economy).

That to me is what Trumpie is doing....

Oil, junk bonds etc have all helped in the past 2 wks but only so long one can do this 'kind of stuff' :)

SImple really. What happens prior to a crash, a huge drop, an economy in serious trouble?? They prop it up in any way that they can for as long as they can in an attempt tohold off the ineviatble. Look at the crashes that have happened previously. They were fully aware of the situation.....

Bonds havent exactly rebounded so much but rather there has been a manipulated short squeeze simply to help the indices.

It happened due to a high yield bond squeeze. That's why there is a volume increase.

Take a look at the High Yield Coroporate Bond ETF and it you will see why this has happened.....chart is quite startling

As per post this afternoon, said i needed dow at 24050-ish ie over 24K and I got it finally:)

I wldnt say that's it either. When the RugPull eventually happens, it's gonna be epic. More so than even in Dec;)

Flipping heck

Just spotted a gap on 5/6 Jan that hasnt been fillled....that leaves us wide open to risk in the future...needs to be filled....at some stage....
