Update on Phase3 RNS4 Jun 2018 16:53
Dissection of RNS of 11 May
''Early analysis of certain biomarker indicators suggest that the treatment did not produce the expected interferon-beta bioactivity in the treatment group that was previously seen in Faron's Phase I/II trial for Traumakine.''
That was apparent from the data and outcomes of the previous RNS so nothing new being stated in this paragraph.
''It is still too early to understand why this is the case and there are a number of possible causes that the Company are investigating including, inter alia, formulation, administration and deactivation. Further detailed analysis of the data and testing of product batches still needs to be conducted, and therefore there is no guarantee that this will ultimately prove to be conclusive or, of the resultant implications of that analysis. ''
So, in essence, what they are stating is a whole variety of reasons/possible cuases which they dont yet know for which CT 3 failed. These reasons cld be applicable to any CT 3 for any drug. They even state there is ''no guarantee that this will ultimately prove to be conclusive or, of the resultant implications of that analysis.''
So, Im absolutely confused as to why so many of you are pinning your hopes on this RNS??
*IF* they are to find out what the causes of the failure of CT3 are attributable to, it doesn't detract from the fact CT 3 failed and finding out the cause does not 'fix' e'thing. Do the rampers wish to inform us what the company need to do in order to then resolve this further?
I know the answer but just wondering if you all think it's just a simple straightforward case of finding the cause, and hey presto, it's all ok??!
It actually means they need to go back to the drawing board and goodness knows how long this will set them back and how much...
Pis discussing mcap, oversold, limited shares, etc is just mind boggling. It will all be irrelevant if CT3 has failed (which it did) and worse still, if Japan's data/ouctome is not significantly different from this data.
And even then, they still need to be accountable for what went wrong in this part'r trial and why and no doubt, repeat it all over again...as best case scenario imho.....
The patient count involved also seems a bit on the low side to me for a CT3 stage......
No disrespect, but I feel like Im in a parallel universe on this bb wrt some here, lol!! ;)
