Im behind on so many 'life' things but can only trade if I fully focus and have a set pattern everyday so totally understand. Hopefully you'll get what you need sorted out and return FT by Jan as I wldnt be able to do PT at all...takes ages to get a feel everyday for what's going on ....more intense than a FT job but when it comes good, then I guess that's why we do it...

Im taking 2 wks out from next week as Im totally exhausted mentally so away for Xmas to see 'loved' ones and then Im taking 1 wk holiday after that. I really need to switch off and been told by certain ppl no charts, trading etc as of next week....lol, we'll see, 100% might be asking a bit too much from me hehe!

How sensible you are!!

99% is just c**p and noise but there a handful that I use regulary to get news, live feeds etc and some for market sentiments and what is really going on rather than what 99% *think* is going on

It shd be called Troller though as they all congragate and oe on there I swear.

And Ive inadvertently and subconsciously used it to be contrarian so when the majority get uber excited/bullish I know it's time to start really shorting hence the increased visits from trolls. TG for the block button....:)

Oh and of course, it's my only way of telling that Numptie what i really think of him:) Become a daily hobby of mine lol:)

I cant trade if i dont pick a side and there was soooooooo much noise and so many muppets today on Twitter etc I had to block out ething and just go with what my charts have been telling me for days if not weeks....

I wasnt happy with the PA all day but just kept adding shorts.....and it was that 24060 I was waiting to be hit which was the tell all and they did but they spiked it so probably took out weak longs and then tanked it 904 points! Unbelieveable.

What a day. All day nothing and then 1 hr of adrenaline laden movements...I cant be doing with this seriously:(

And i was trying to trade TUO all day in between which has been a right royal PITA today....

SPX just hit the 2400s:) 2489 to be exact.....a ~450 point decimation from highs of Sept. when bulls were calling 3000 and when I decided that was the time to short and got totally trolled....(bankers!) ..and the year isnt finished yet:)

Dow and all the other indices have of course unfilled gaps from overnight.

Funny, Ive read every single scenario re Fed this eve and reaction and not one has mentioned the glaring unfilled gaps which are sign'y lower down. Ok so they dont need to be filled today but I suspect they will be filled sooner rather than later

Dow currently showing as well as going up 450+points in 18 hrs that it can lose almost third of that in just 20-30mins:)

Fed is just an excuse. Almost certain interest hike will happen but next yr is what markets will react to.

And the truth is the real effects dont get seen until 24-36 hrs later but most forget that every single time and that's normally the real, longer term reaction /effects upon the markets. At least from what Ive observed esp since Powell came in......

Lower target which wld mean lows of the year for NQ and leads me to believe indices are not done with their falls irrespective of any ST rallies, bounces, fakeouts etc due to Fed or otherwise.

Markets are going to go where they;re going to go even irrespective of the Fed; the Fed simply means we may get a false breakout or spike which lends itself to seling the rally ultimately.

Lows of the year are unlikely to be in aimho...I dont care if Dow bounces 2-300 points this eve.

The market is dead. End of. The lows are not yet in.....looking at 2400s for SPX for a starter imminently/by January....AIMHO :)

Coldspy, doesnt matter how many trades you took to do it; you made profit and that's the bottom line:) I scalp a lot!

Compounding soon adds up and some days that's how i achieve my daily targets ie days like this when it's just doing nothing ie until Fed decision tonight.

I cant say candles are a fave part of my learning either:( Nothing wrong with closing early; cant always catch bottoms/top so banking any amount is key imho:)

Anyhow, US opening soon, best of luck:)

NP Coldspy. Just /betting is totally different to trading shares ...and believe, me, Im no expert at all.

I cld have a core holding that is short and but be scalping long on any part'r day so for someone to ask if i am long or short wld not give the whole picture in that scenario....and I scalp a heck of a lot, lol!!

MY NQ chart from yday gives an indication where *I* think it's going ultimately but obviously as you will know it cld bounce 100-150 points in between hence my reluctance to give/endorse trades per se :) Best of luck:)
