Thanks for the welcome tichtich... I'm a 5+ year holder whos happy collect reliable & reasonably covered quarterly div's via an ISA. Not in this to trade so daily movements to me are noise... and not being mystic Meg... I can't always time the bottom perfectly... such is life lol!

Once the data is available from 2025 I'll compare how UKW circa 2Gwh of wind generation asset base compared with SSE's 3Gwh asset base... these being no.1 & no.2 UK wind generators. During my DD... UKW for Yr 2024 performance compared VERY well on a Gwh installed per Twh generated with that of SSE.

Thanks for that forward prices link. Forward price forecasts go up and down like the wind lol... but good to know its a win...

I wonder how much increased energy demand from future AI datacentres and vehicle charging is baked into these forecasts?!

New longterm holder bought at 93.5p. Retired energy exec so I understand the risk in this business.

As part of my DD I took a look at UKW wind turbine portfolio and the life if their assets... they have an avg age of 9 year old... some older some newer across their asset base. Average lifetime quoted by UKW in video ppt was 30 years, in some cases 35years. I have heard StatKraft CEO quoting 40 years of life. In any case over such a long time I would expect tech improvements and replacement turbines to be better and cheaper and FEWER and with more choice such as Chinese turbines on the market to choose from. Even if UKW did not want to repower (replace old turbine at end of their useful economic life) the wind farm sites would have value to others due to their grid connections.

They own a 45% stake as of Nov23 in Organigram, a Canadian cannabis company. They also have other cannabis investments as part if their beyond nicotine strategy. As an aside 14 US states have legalised cannabis. Not sure why the 3.3% drop... I'm staying put for the divi as still undervalued circa 25% on a DCF basis! DYOR

Why do you think bottom will be around £4... just interested in your thoughts around that? 🤔 Thanks
