HALLIN LANDS CASPIAN SEA DEAL `IN EXCESS OF US $20 MILLION' 16 September 2009 Hallin Marine, the AIM quoted provider of subsea solutions to the oil and gas industry, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a five year contract by Dalgidj Private Company ("Dalgidj PC"), for remote operating vehicle (ROV) drilling support services in the Caspian Sea, off the coast of Azerbaijan. The contract is to commence in late October this year and is in support of BP's drilling programme from fixed platforms in the Caspian Sea. The contract is split into two parts. For the first two years Hallin will provide two of its Quasar Compact ROVs, complete with specialised tooling and operational personnel, to Dalgidj PC, the Azeri company. At the end of two years, Hallin will sell the two ROVs at a price already agreed to Dalgidj PC and continue to give technical and project support from onshore Baku, Azerbaijan for a further three years. The total package of work, including the proceeds from the sale of the ROVs, which at the time of the sale will be five years old, is in excess of US$20 million. As part of the contract Hallin will design and manufacture specialised ROV intervention tooling, utilising the in-house design capabilities of its wholly-owned subsidiaries - Malton based Hallin Robotics Limited and Prospect Flow Solutions Ltd. HALLIN AWARDED US$15 MILLION, 2 YEAR CONTRACT 5 August 2009 Hallin Marine, the AIM quoted provider of subsea solutions to the oil and gas industry, announces that it has been awarded a two year US$15 million contract by construction giant Leighton to supply saturation diving support for the 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 seasons for the Pipeline Replacement Project (PRP2) offshore Mumbai, India. Following the completion of a successful 2008/2009 campaign for Leighton, Hallin has been awarded a key saturation diving support contract. The scope of work covered by the contract includes the provision of a diving system and personnel for subsea construction work activities for the next two years. The contract will see Hallin deploy a saturation diving system, equipment, consumables and skilled diving personnel on board a client designated construction barge for the PRP2 project for each season of the two year long contract. The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC), Asia`s largest oil and gas exploration and production company, has placed orders with Leighton for the US$720 million PRP2 contract. HALLIN WINS US$6.5 MILLION VESSEL CONTRACT Hallin Marine, the AIM quoted provider of subsea solutions to the oil and gas industry, announces it has signed a contract for the Hallin operated vessel the Sanko Angel with a major oil & gas operator. Under the terms of the contract the vessel will be providing offshore construction support to the client's oil and gas platforms and subsea infrastructure. Hallin divers, engineers and technicians will operate saturation diving and Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) services from the Sanko Angel for part of the duration of the contract. The vessel will also provide accommodation support to the oil major's offshore crew, utilising much of the Sanko Angel's personnel accommodation. The contract commences immediately and is scheduled to run well into the fourth quarter of 2009. The contract value is US$6.5 million with additional service options. During the duration of the contract the Sanko Angel will be operating in DP2 (Dynamic Positioning Class 2) mode. The 76 metre vessel is a multi-purpose Subsea Operations Vessel (SOV) that has accommodation for up to 120 personnel onboard. Hallin is concentrating on saturation diving, remote operated subsea vehicles with high end purpose built vessels these are in high demand and are higher margin, as these come on stream Hallin should see PBT increases. Hallin is already cheap against the sector on the most conservative estimates. At 150p it is likely that Hallin will still be attractive compared to the oil services sector for 2009.

Hallin integrated subsea (diving) company, the only one quoted on the UK stock exchange. Growth has been very strong. Subsea integrated diving companies are a high growth sector in my view, I already hold Subsea-7 and Cal-Dive however Hallin is a smaller company growing faster and on a valuation basis is far cheaper for example on EPS and P/e. So my biggest holding is here. Hope the sun is shining as usual on the Terrace for lunch at the Hotel de Paris, Monaco.

(NYSE:DVR) reported first quarter 2009 net income of $12.3 million, or $.12 per diluted share compared to $0.6 million and $.01 per diluted share for the same period of 2008. The increase in net income is primarily due to increased vessel utilization as a result of increased diving activity in international markets and repair and salvage work as a result of hurricanes Gustav and Ike that struck the Gulf of Mexico in the late summer of 2008"

Hallin's wholly owned subsidiary, Prospect Flow Solutions Limited ("Prospect"), has opened its doors in Singapore, through a new Singaporean subsidiary, Prospect Asia Pte Ltd("Prospect Asia"), adding to Prospect's offices in: Aberdeen, Scotland; Derby, England; Houston, USA; and Stavanger, Norway. Prospect Asia consists of existing Prospect staff and Singapore recruited engineers who have received extensive training at Prospect's Aberdeen headquarters. Prospect Asia has been chosen by Atlantis Resources Corporation Pte Ltd ("Atlantis") for the design contract of its green technology large tidal turbine. The contract will see Prospect Asia provide the engineering design and project management services required for the detailed design of a scaled-up version of Atlantis' existing 100kW deepwater subsea turbine. Atlantis described Prospect as `an excellent match' for the project, citing its `niche capabilities in hydrodynamics, marine engineering and computational mechanics (CFD and FEA) combined with its track record of innovative engineering.'

Extract from Investors Champion : "HALLIN MARINE (AIM:HMS) US$5 million contract extension The AIM quoted subsea solutions provider to the oil and gas industry, announced the award of a US$5m contract extension covering additional saturation diving equipment taken up by an offshore support company based in Singapore as options under its existing contract. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2010. Oil services contract announcements have been few are far between so this is positive news. Consensus estimates for the for year ending December 2009 are for pre-tax profit of £18.4m, earnings per share of 33.2p and a full year dividend of 2p. For 2010 the house broker is estimating pre-tax profits of £20.5m and earnings per share of 40p. The shares look excellent value although, with no quoted UK diving peers it’s hard to properly assess things. It’s probably worth having a look at NYSE listed Cal Dive International Inc (NYSE:DVR) to get a better idea." The big difference is the Price Earnings Ratio with Hallin at around P/e 3.5 and Cal Dive at around 10.8. Hallin is growing fast and getting very cheap.
